Positional energyfighting, that's the term i was looking for! The fight that's not a gunfight. It's the hardest part of the game IMO. It's a bit like chess. A video devoted to this topic is one I've been looking for (hint hint). Thanks for the tutorials!

(Actually just got done binge watching some of your vids at 4:15 AM after hopping off 😂) I became a better pilot in a matter of days! You were the first one to teach me about situational awareness. Keep on keeping on Jengar! Your work matters 🫡

Hi Jengar, watched you videos for some times already. With all the movement you made with aircraft was pretty cool, but i have question about keyboard usage, regarding camera and mouse combination. How do u aim? Using mouse or keyboard. Whenever i use camera, i have to press C button constantly with the mouse . But when i want to aim and move the plane, i have to release the C and it trigger back to plane central focus HUD, and i lost the vision of the opponent while dogfighting and that ruin the whole picture to manouver. Probably if possible, u can explain this how u maintained the aim. Or is it different keyboard setup or other skills? It looks like u never release C button at all like how i look in ur game.

I'm sure this is good information, but I always get demolished in air battles, doesn't help that I fly planes like the buffalo and wilcat I do the recommended "side climb, bnz" but when I try and break away it always seems like the enemy catch up to me and kill me. Too aggressive and I over commit then get whipped in a dogfight, too passive and I get only a few hits no kills and lose the match.

Also, approach every plane as if they are experienced and never assume someone who starts the match ground pounding to be some idiot noob. I don't know how many times I've seen P-51's and Fw-190's not climb and start ground pounding at the start of a match. I know. I've made that mistake. Bled all my altitude to go chase after what I thought was a noob, only for the noob to fly circles around me. Some people just prefer to bait unsuspecting, greedy players like me and they are good at it. I used to fly very risky and go after what I thought was easy kills. Now I just assume everyone is experienced and are baiting, just waiting for me to make an ill-advised aggressive move so they can reverse me and shoot me down. Matches take a bit longer now, but I'm a bit more successful.

If you notice someone has been ground pounding a minute ago 3km's below you, and now they are at a similar altitude, you can assume they wasted alot of energy climbing and as long as you have kept your speed up, you will most likely be at an advantage.
