Hello everyone For those who want greater control over the sustainability features of their design, to participate in the energy certification, and/or create highly efficient buildings that exceed mandatory energy standards (up to the point of net zero energy consumption or even beyond), Archicad`s EcoDesigner STAR offers support for building systems set-up and detailed reporting. In today`s video we will demonstrate a quick workflow to extract energy performances of your designs
THE ECODESIGNER WORKFLOW : By the end of this video, you will be able to run energy simulations of your designs. EcoDesigner allows the designer to simulate the thermal performance of a 3D model created in ArchiCAD. With the location of the building and the correct orientation established, EcoDesigner is able to punch out some very impressive information very quickly, such as the ‘energy balance’ for the home.
