Endurance Lights Solar Outdoor Light Tips

This video is a followup to Cousin Eddie's first video about the Endurance Lights Solar Outdoor Light. There was some confusion regarding how the green power switch functions. Hopefully, in this video, I will straighten out the confusion. Jeremy, here is your link: endurancelight...

We're on a roll now friends. Two short videos in one day! It took 6 hours to upload them from this internet wasteland, but it's better than nothing! Take care friends. Stay kind!

Under the scrutiny and advice of @Jeremy Wever, I have placed a link in the video description. I'm in constant need of supervision 😂

2 videos in a day! Woot! I need one of those lights. Unfortunately, my garage is just metal pipes and a large tarp, with nothing to bolt it to 😏

The lights are pretty easy to mount almost anywhere, but I'm still in the testing phase so I an not trying to convince anyone to buy them until they've been proven over time. Is it as cold up there as it is down here or am I just getting soft in my old age?

@@WaynePolcin Well, with highs hovering around 17 deg in November, I'd say it's lower than sweater-weather here Hahahaha

Good morning Wayne, good to see you. Maybe if cousin Eddie stayed out there at night he could use a flash light so the horses wouldn't bump their nose on the building, lol. Love to all.

We just purchased a church building in the country that currently has an outside light attached to the street pole outside the church to light up our small church parking lot. We're still renovating the building but I just found out we're paying 50.00 a month to the electric company just for the light. And it looks like your solar light is just as bright. I'll research more about your light to see if we should switch over to it before we start using this building for church.

Just keep in mind that the solar light contains a battery that will have to be replaced at some time in the future - maybe 5 years or so. Also, if the solar light is set for continuous light, you may find that the light will not last through a long night, especially if it doesn't get a good charge due to cloud cover during the day. If you have a couple talented church members, you might be able to do something like what I did in this video series: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fn6suZisdNTTaaw.html&pp=gAQBiAQB

With that many LED’s and that close to the ground, I’m betting you could find a dropped needle on the ground below it. Best wishes for you and family in upcoming holidays! Kevin

That light is rated at 90 watts and it's about 11 feet above the ground. It works pretty well but it's not super bright. Best holiday wishes to you too, my friend!

What would we do without remotes! Careful up there WP, thought u lost your balance a bit, 😮 another great tip. Did u find that 6 hr works best or always on? Have a good one and hey to Suz the Q!

I honestly don't think the light would last for an entire cycle of 2, 4 or 6 hours, because when we had it set for motion detection, it was always dead before daylight in the morning. We feel the best way to use the light is with the remote, setting it to any of the four modes: 2H, 4H, 6H or Always, then turning it off when we leave the area. Motion mode would work well as long as there is no continuous motion near the light. Does that make sense?

Solar definitely has it merits , but the snow issue is a issue that has to be done or it won't work .

  • @WaynePolcin

Yeah, the snow is an issue for sure. We have a ladder in the run-in so I can easily brush the snow off when needed. A built-in heater could do the trick but then the battery wouldn't last at all.
