My wife has been for 2.5 years in bed and a suction occurs almos every 2 hours it seems like is very paiful because now she pushes the hand of the respiratory technician. Is this realy painful. Please help

how are we supposed to know the catheter has crossed the cannula tip to 0.5- 1 cm... moreover is this not tracheostomy succtioning..

Catheter for airway suction should be going in how many cm?

about 5 inches (12-13 cm) for adults & a little less than that for children

I see that the catheter is pushed more than the lenghth required
