I got stuck on that too, now I'm stuck on the middle line. Its not moving on the Z and its flickering (I guess because its in the same place as the road). There's a lot to digest in this for someone whos never used geometry nodes.

For people who are in Blender 3.2: Instead of dragging the Bezier Circle from the layers menu to the geometry node editor, add a Curve Circle from the Curve Primitives directly in the geometry editor, and build from there. Set it to Radius, drag up the resolution and the rest of the tutorial should work as described.

Very good tutorial, thanks. I have a suggestion. The geometry nodes window is very difficult to understand in the video since it's so small. Could you possibly keep a zoomed in version of it in your videos? It might help. Regardless, brilliant tutorial.

the part with the CombineXYZ in the beginning works only with Object Info set to Relative !

If you're using the latest version of blender. You use that group input > geometry that you used for the road width for everything and not object info! Had me stuck for a good minute.

Back when I used to use soft soft when I knew it kind of well I used the soft roll to make softs I thought it was just more effective

Hey, i’m on blender 3.6, and when using the node structure, and groups inputs, it only changes the diameter of the circles from a seemingly random curve, but not the actual BezierCircle we created previously. Any suggestions?

Or a generic race track circuit. Hi, this calculation of creating a keyframe at 0 and then a second at 360, works in a perfect circle. And if it were more complex, what would be the best node to calculate the animation in this circuit?

create a material in shader editor , with texture coordinates set to object (and choose the road curve as source object!) then assign the material in the Set Material node.. it´s important because the texture will not rotate by default with the curve object

I had the same issue, you can change the resolution of the circle inside the object data properties panel of the cicle (under the shape sub menu). hope this helps!
