I'm from a place with a lot of Spanish-speaking immigrants and it's really hard for me to remember to pronounce it the way he says it himself - I just automatically read it as "hosé" every time I see it on the screen.

I can him “José” with the spanish pronunciation because it just feels like a crime to say it any way else (yes yes there’s different pronunciations, but I was raised in a Mexican household lol)

I’ve always said it as “Jose” because my sibling has a friend with that name and that’s how he says it.

Literally, all you had to do was play the clip of Jose pronouncing his own name and that's the end of any debate.
