The actress who plays Violet insisted on being shown in this scene. It wasn't planned that way. I'm so glad the director listened to her. It makes that scene even more poignant.

I thought he was really going to kiss her and cause a scandal. The way he looked at her - OMG! 😍 That look showed how much he wants her. I was waiting for that kiss. It would have been interesting and especially passionate. ❤

During dance rehearsals it was mentioned that Lord Debling and Collin should act like stags fighting over one another for her attention 😊😊 the dynamics of what plays out with body and facial expressions during these few minutes is extraordinary! You can feel it in your soul’s! Part 2 You Must Make Haste!!

Mine too! I love the difference between the Casanova Colin trying to flirt with woman in episode 1 and now not being able to say a single word while looking at the love of his life. He's obsessed,haunted and in hypnotic state all at once.

They are superior actors. The quality of this series is every bit as good as Succession. The writing, acting, directing are just a different genre. I’m always pleased to notice the sets, choice of colors, the outdoor scenes. Like Succession, you can lean into the drama because they spare no expense in every aspect of each episode. Who doesn’t love a Regency social world drama? This will be a many decades classic.

Oh my god, I came to this video on the off chance someone knew what that bit of soundtrack was (the Call Me Simon bit) and THANK YOU. I didn't even think to go back to the other seasons to check!

@@Hayles92 yes! It's a bit tricky since some tracks are reused from previous seasons and some are from the new soundtrack that hasn't been released yet, so you never know if a song playing in a scene is available
