You should go to other areas of Sirmaur. The Sirmauri language is also dying in areas like Cis Giri's Saindhar area and Dharti Dhar. UNESCO declared Sirmauri language as endangered language two years ago. The biggest fault of all is the present generation. When you will not talk to your children in Pahari language, then how can the future generation learn your language. In this era of modernity, the present generation has also started talking in Hindi, only the elderly are left who still speak in Pahari language. In today's era this kind of task becomes very difficult.

Hindi should be banned, so that this language don't die in Pahadi regions. As we have so many hindi speakers.

Hindi shouldn’t be banned but taught as a second language with mother tongue as compulsory. Modiji has said that the schools should teach all subjects in mother tongue.

Khash culture bhi to bhul gaye sab.

Himachali language all over Himachal is decreasing. Not only language but the culture is also decreasing as the generation is now attracted towards the western culture like whole India.😢🙌🙌

Thanks to India govt's aggressive imposition of Hindi, languages in India particularly minority are losing their not only Language or dialect but cultures too

You could have said this in ‘Hindi’ also as this is going to happen with Hindi also. People feel proud talking in English in public areas and now at homes. Hume iss par bhi Dhyan dena chahiye.

Uttarakhandi languages will also be on the verge of extinction in a couple of years from now.
