This has always been god tier, when it comes to superbands! I'll never get tired of listening to Traveling Wilburys. Every time I do, it makes me do a deep dive into Jeff Lynne's, Bob Dylan's, Roy Orbison's, Tom Petty's, and George Harrison's music all over again. Not a weak link in the bunch! It'll be a very sad day when Jeff Lynne and Bob Dylan have reached the end of the line.

@@JohnHunter-vl3gs Hi John. There are 3.36 minute versions here on You Tube. If you have a PC or laptop you can download an app called Media Human that will allow you 25 free downloads from You Tube. You can download either the video or just the MP3 track. It's a trial but you don't have to buy it after. Good Luck 🙂
Hell, Roy Orbison's empty chair plays better than most of the musicians today.

RIP, George, Roy and Tom...
This is the definitive "supergroup" no one even comes close,
Keep that chair rocking for Roy this song is amazing I can listen to this all day long hope you are still playing in heaven George Tom & Roy ❤
A tear almost always appears when I see the guitar in the chair. What a group this was. R I P Tom, George and Roy.
Just a group of guys who already had it all but just wanted to jam and make music cause that’s what they loved. Never gonna have a band like this again.

Best of all time in totality. No one held back (George, Beatles), just everyone sharing their gifts to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
RIP George,Roy and Tom. Tom passing broke my heart. When I was in high school there was a guy looked like TP, his name was Tom too. Always high and wearing sunglasses. When you told him hi Tom, he always responded by saying "hey dude". Then revolution happened, and everything went south. Here, not as much and back home which at the beginning was beautiful but turned into a nightmare. You felt stranded and your country was in hand of aliens. It was gone. Then came TP song "refugee" that song kept me and alot of my friends going. Thanks Tom me and the boys will miss you. 😢
This has to be one of the all time greatest songs of eternity. You know Heavens just waiting for these guys to headline one day!!
You look at these absolute legends (sadly without Roy), & they just seem to simply enjoy playing with each other. Not even realizing, or caring, what great! music they were creating! What fun they must’ve had; no pressure, just doing what they loved. RIP Roy, George, and Tom, forever.

I WAS IN COUNTRY MUSIC BUSINESS FOR FORTY YEARS FIRST AS A ROADIE AND RETIRED ON THE BOOKING END, From the 60 to the 90s and beyond I saw the greats worked for some of them and in no way can the glitter boys in Nashville get as good as the ones who came before them, NASHVILLE is now all about the glitter the sex and having know talent, Any producer or engineer can take any know talent cant pick or sing and make a superstar out of them if they got the sexy ass male or female and they don't mind giving it up for the stardom.
RIP Roy, George & Tom. These are just a bunch of guys loving what they do. Making MUSIC.
I loved this song for 20 years. When I turned 80, it took on a whole new meaning.😅

There will never be another group like them. Too bad.
Near the end of the video if you watch Tom Petty he switches from playing his Bass from right handed to left handed for only a short period of time, that is hard to do because everything is backwards as far as the strings go. Shows just how great he was! Rip Tom, George and Roy you will be missed!

Best super group ever! RIP Roy, George and Tom. 🙏
Such a supergroup...will never find a better one!!! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Don't think there will ever be another collaboration of this magnitude of music geniuses
Roy Orbison shows up as a guitar on the rocking chair. What an incredible tribute.
What a great group of fabulous musicians! Love them all!
I have no idea how the five of them got together but I am so happy they did.
Bob Dylan is still with us too , don’t forget that. Legendary group
"Maybe somewhere down the road a ways, you'll think of me and wonder how I am these days..." All the time, Tom, all the time.
I saw Roy Orbison 3 times in the 60s- early days. We saw so many groups back then. I’d take the old days of rock & Roll anytime.
I loved Tom Petty from the first time I heard him. Even though I missed the others of the band who went before him, when he passed? My heart broke, so sad. I really loved the man even tho I didn't know him personally. God bless him and his family. Just saying.
Hasn’t been that much talent in one room since Roy sang solo
Tom sings glad to be here. Happy to be alive. Sad . It’s all right, Tom. Your one cool, cat !!!!!! MUSIC CHEERS THE SOUL, Anyone agree?
A track that should never end. I could listen and sing along to this all day. Perfection.
End of the line...for most of us , the end ...but for real artists...it's no goodbye...the fruits of your work will never die.....see you soon Roy,George and Tom.

Good friends having a good time, no egos; just talented guys with utmost respect for one another. A true supergroup left us wishing for more.
There is so much good feeling in this video it is almost overwhelming. In these days of such hostility and cattiness between artists, it is so refreshing to see a group of musicians whose by word could literally be 'harmony'.
Tom sings I’m so glad to be here , happy to be alive. And he meant it. Fun fun fun their having. Rip, brothers. Jamming now in heaven.
What a perfect tune, rhythm, lyrics, everything. It all fits in so perfectly. Everytime I come across this song, which is once every few months on KZread, I think to myself - what a perfect song, what a masterpiece
I've never seen such beautiful contentment on anyone ever before as you witness here with these wonderful friends...The Traveling Wilbury's are Awesome 💯😎!!!

@Chris Stowell u never got back to me
"The Traveling Wilburys (sometimes shortened to the Wilburys) were an English-American supergroup consisting of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty. Originating from an idea discussed by Harrison and Lynne during the sessions for Harrison's 1987 album Cloud Nine, the band formed in April 1988 after the five members united to record a bonus track for Harrison's next European single. When this collaboration, "Handle with Care", was deemed too good for such a limited release, the group agreed to record a full album, titled Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1. Following Orbison's death in December 1988, the band released a second album, which they titled Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3, in 1990. The project's work received much anticipation given the diverse nature of the singer-songwriters. The band members adopted tongue-in-cheek pseudonyms as half-brothers from a fictional Wilbury family of travelling musicians. Vol. 1 was a critical and commercial success, helping to revitalise Dylan's and Petty's respective careers. In 1990, the album won the Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group. Although Harrison envisaged a series of Wilburys albums and a film about the band, produced through his company HandMade, the group's final release was in February 1991. After several years of unavailability, the two Wilburys albums were reissued by the Harrison estate in the 2007 box set The Traveling Wilburys Collection. The box set included a DVD containing their music videos and a documentary on the band's formation." I know, from Wiki! It was an interesting time for music. I miss it.
You don't get better musicians than these, they are the best of the music world!

So sad watching the chair rockin
Roy Orbison, admired and loved by many, including George Harrison and other Beatles members, was known as "The Voice." He was given a place of honor in The Traveling Wilburys video with the rocking chair and guitar and photo. Sweeeet. George Harrison, such a great collaborator, knew how to draw the best talent to him. He called Jeff Lynne (ELO band leader) "The Wizard" and entrusted the completion of his final album to son Dani with guidance from Jeff. All loved Tom Petty, for his kind and giving nature, not to mention his great talent. And the reclusive Dylan, who was a huge fan of Roy's, didn't hesitate to join the group co-founded by Orbison. Thanks for uploading and sharing.
Roy, Tom and George are gone but this music is a great tribute to their talent. RIP Boys
