Lmao, im kinda mad they got rid of chunkloaders in the newest update since in the future who knows whats gonna come? Ive been asking for a block that does whatever right or left click would do (aka give it a diamond pickaxe and set it to left click at a cobblestone machine and it'll auto mine, which would be really useful for autoquarries and house builders in the future but rip. ( I know a mod has them, but I want them in vanilla btw. )

Isn't that already exist? For example you make cobblestone generator and blow them with tnt duping, or you can make flying machines that drill holes and make perimeter. Of course it wont be massive since we dont have chunkloaders.

@@ryanstewart531 you'd have to make such blocks incredibly underpowered, because players would give those blocks effi 5 dura 3 silk mending diamond picks, set up a contraption that lets those mine till the pick is almost broken and sell the stone to a villager, repairing the pick while doing so.

@@ryanstewart531 There are TNT mining machines. The reason there isn't a "clicker" block in vanilla is because it would make so many redstone contraptions obsolete, and honestly make the game kinda trivial. Infinite resources for basically free.

This video was heavily rushed. 2No2Name did probably 90% of the code digging and instrumental to get this working. I couldn't get the credits in the end to show that as it was rushed out. Hope this comment helps point that out! FAQ: Command blocks are used to place the ghasts in minecarts in the correct spot. Forgot to remove them for the recording.

@@TheBlueCore It's more broken than EOL farms because you can affect the spawning rate.

One of the things I find most interesting about this is watching the evolution of mob farms, and technical Minecraft overall. That short history of mob farms video was such a trip down memory lane for me, I've watched every single one of those videos when they were released, even the Etho and Kiershar ones. But just in the short overview of the farm, it is easy to track the origin of each component to the video where it was first shown off. The Etho hopperclock, the water streams. The widened drop shafts, the use of the nether, the chunkloading, all culminating in this... End of Farms. Incredible.

from what I could tell it seemed as though they essentially used a large number of chunk loaders ( I believe I heard 900) to increase the spawn rates to ridiculous numbers, and then made it so that the only spawnable space was one above a witches hut (hence purely witches). Notice how they were on glass the whole time? that was because they had tried limiting the spawning area to that singular location. In addition the ghasts were used just to efficiently push mobs into the center of the portals so more could spawn. As to the fine intricacies of how everything works... That would probably need a video to explain, but I hope this is enough to possibly explain it.

You should probably test it on Spigot in creative first. Specifically, there is a setting moderators can change related to the generation of woodland mansions that can break it.

Scicraft has stayed on an older version of Minecraft as to not break the majority of its farms every time it updates. So yes, this is not possible in the current version of the game but will continue to work on their server.

Some stats that I missed in the video: If it's true that you guys create 2.5 shulker boxes of redstone blocks/hour with this with farm (see 6:13), that's equal to 2.5 boxes x 27 slots x 64 stack * 9 redstone dust = 38,880 redstone dust/hour. EDDxample created a 100% efficient witch farm, which produced 6,200 redstone dust/hour. So this farm is essentially 38,880 / 6,200 ~ 6.3 witch farms worth of drops. Are you guys able to set up multiple of these lag-wise, as Scicraft was planning to set up 20+ witch farms, right?

6200 items per hour of all types, its 750 redstone per hour from regular witch farms. this type of farm is 50x faster then a very efficient witch farm and can in theory be made 2.5x faster by player kills and possibly upped much higher if taken to the very extreme with perfect seeds and RNG spots bringing it up to about 3x more then that on top. Also pre 1.9 this exact farming concept would be theoretically 200x faster if lag and mobcap wasn't an issue. Broke as f.

So does this also work for exploiting the spawning of the enderdragon, endermen, wither skeletons, blaze and zombie pigmen? Basically any mobs from the end or the nether? Is there any need to make perimeters/mob farms anymore on technical servers like Scicraft and Dugged?

Noone wants to use it apparently but one can choose too. Its not duping and an actual farming mechanic, but an extreme version of it. Nether also doesn't work at all using this. RNG in the fortress doesn't use the world seed.
