If/when I have a son, this is exactly how I will decorate his room.

I absolutely adore the bedroom design for your son. It is sophisticated, whimsical, playful and imaginative. It reminds me of a room you would find in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” or “Alice in Wonderland”. Simply charming, I would have love to have a bedroom like this when I was young. What a fortunate young man to get an elegant, manly "big boy" room that is not too intimidating for a child! How blessed he is to have such a creative mommy! I noticed that our little superhero was wearing his cape, too. I hope he loves his new room. ❤

Stunning!!!! Can I suggest putting one of the tabs of the curtains on the outside of the hook holding the curtain rail? It’ll keep them from pulling in from the outside when you close them, and make the window look wider.

what a cozy little nest at the end of the day. Love the houndstooth trunk under the dresser, the hundred acre map over the bed, the sweet bee pillow in the reading nook... and the gorgeous brass lamp with the black shade. Who would have guessed dark academia would work in a little boys room. But it totally does!!!!! A magical retreat!
