I am so over the usual same ole , same ole, white kitchens, bedrooms... yada yada yada. Thank you for inspiring me for the beautiful dark academia designs. I've watched so many tv rennovation shows that show more or less the same tired designs over and over again. I've always had a love of dark furnishings and design, you've really shown the true essence of dark beautiful designs. Absolutely exquisite work. Well done. I hope it inspires other's like myself. I wish I had the funds to furnish my home myself lol !!

I love this design style. It exudes vintage opulence and old money. Not easy to pull off in a modern built home. Will work better in a Victorian or Gothic style home. There is much attention to detail in the casework, the floors and the ceiling treatment. High end furnishings, draperies, lighting fixtures and decorative hardware complete the look. Each room pictured is absolutely stunning.

The Dark Academia Interior exudes a love of learning, of education, of thirst for knowledge. It always includes many books, also such things as armillary spheres, maps, botanical specimens, telescopes, microscopes, original art, binoculars, animal specimens such as turtle shells, skeletons, prints by Audubon, and many many other things, but always with a bent toward the scholarly life. So many of these photos are simply Victorian, which is a lovely style in itself, but just adding books doesn't make it Dark Academia. Also, a bathroom, with its humidity, is not a safe place to keep books. Are you sure you understand it?

High ceilings and big/tall windows (as featured in this video) are best to achieve this look. Low ceilings and short/small windows already make a room appear smaller. Dark walls and dark furniture in a room with low ceilings and short windows will make a room appear even smaller.

This style is quite beautiful, even glamorous. It is not however for me. Too dark too fancy and honestky if I attempted to sit down and read in thus room I woukd soon fall asleep. Your presentation was lovely however and I thank you for sharing it.

A little to Ai generated for me, some good ideas though but didn't hold my attention esp. with that terrible AI voice over.

Too many candles and clutter

For me it's pretentious. Books in the bathroom?!!! Thank you, no. They will be rotten in no time. I adore my book collection and cherish them in my library😊

MUCH too cluttered with kitsch. Needs some simplicity injected for relief. That and a trash bag for the thrift shop. The Adams live here.
