This idea is so good it almost deserves better execution. Especially the changing art styles, the boss ideas, the characters all coming back at the end, etc.

First boss made me think their was gonna be more animation style changes than just the first boss and ending

They should to add more sounds in the bosses attacks, also the bosses need different sounds

This games look cool, but they should add sound effects cause it makes it feel more alive

Far from a finished game but i think it's still salvageable, it's not gonna be easy but it would be a shame for some of these boss ideas to go to waste.

This is really sad to watch. You can tell there were some pretty fun, intriguing ideas but there's so many places where it feels like they cut corners or didn't have the resources. The still cut scenes just gives me flashbacks to what Redfall pulled. It's a shame. Edit: After getting to the credits and seeing it's a two person team, you I can afford to cut them some slack. Making a video takes a TON of effort, though trying to follow up on something like Cuphead might have been a little too ambitious.

This game is great, although it still need some changes, like, making the animations more fluid like in the trailer, make sound effects and song less louder,bosses have more attacks, but still a good game

This is what we call in the biz, mad cope.

Immediately you can tell there's something off with Enchanted Portals... The music, the style, the gameplay... Desperately trying to be Cuphead with a quarter the amount of effort that Studio MDHR put into making Cuphead's world, atmosphere and style accurately represent the era it was emulating... It genuinely feels more like an early alpha of Cuphead at points than a finished title. Especially at 20 dollars when the much MUCH more polished Cuphead is the same price... Save your money and buy the real deal.

This is basically Cuphead but with wizards and unfinished. Seems good.

The patterns feel really bland and boring, the lack of sound effects also doesn't help. I can tell there was effort put into this but it feels so cheap, espacially when you defeat a boss and instead of an animation of the boss exploding or something it just cuts to some images. It feels really soulless and cold, kind of a shame since i thought this game could be pretty good

Yeah there's no satisfaction at all when you beat the boss because of that sudden end plus will agree with you on the attacks on bosses feeling bland and repetitive

the animations is outstanding ill give ya that, Its just that DAMN SHOOTING SOUND EFFECT AAAAAAHHHHHH. and the music is a little to bland for me, sorry to say this but i probably wont be buying this anytime soon.

Ngl I think this game just a needs a bit more flavour to it and a bit more time , specifically the sound effects and animations of the moves , attacks , and phases of the bosses and enemies , its Way WAY too fuckin Bland for me fam.

I could've sworn I heard something about this game being cancelled... Anyway, for a two-person team, it's not THAT bad, there are certainly some creative concepts and interesting ideas. However, it's lacking in sound effects and the music is kinda bland, but not terrible. The shooting sound is headache-inducing, and the sound effect for when you get hit is the most generic sound effect ever. It would be better if they added animations for when the bosses are defeated or transforming, instead of interrupting the fight with still cutscenes. That steals the impact that defeating the bosses would have. I also think it's a little bit irritating that we go back to World 1 in the world selection screen after completing a world, but that's just a nitpick. Despite looking pretty unfinished, I think it's not too late to save this game. It just needed more time in the oven, a sound designer and a little more focus on its own identity and atmosphere, instead of being a "we have Cuphead at home" kind of game. I think the creators could've benefited a little from watching Sakurai's videos.

@@AceDetectiveKirigiri yeah, they did. they are trying to cancel any negative things said about the game. People are trying to give honest feedback to help patch the game, but they wont allow it. They wont be able to succeed at taking down everything cause there's a ton of negative reviews. The only thing I've seen on Steam that had a lower rating than this was airport simulator.

Para ser un juego inspirado en cuphead le falta esencia no hay casi sonido en los ataques de los jefes ni en los enemigos del nivel no se siente la misma vibra de un dibujo animado clásico, solo es música y algunos sonidos simples y a pesar de contener escenas cortas no se escucha algún efecto de sonido ni los personajes tiene. Voz para darle más sentimiento al juego Eso hace que el juego se sienta vacío Los diseños de los personajes están bien y los escenarios un poco pero aún así creo que necesitaba un poco más de trabajo

how do you fumble the bag with a music based boss? Those are uniquely great universally. edit: Can't believe I'm I need to say this, but visuals are not the game. A game can look nice, but still be terrible. Clearly effort went into making this look somewhat good, every single aspect is just lacking severely.
