Thanks Laurie, unfortunately I have to take a break to continue work on my newest book but I will DEFINITELY be returning to do more of these! In the meantime I have some great videos coming out on Fridays per usual but YES, I will be back also for more mashups!

Hi Karen, OMG you have started me on a very expensive habit, but and it's a big but, I want to say that you are so spot on I bought a card to test the colours and even with the card there is so much paint in a little dot. Now I want to throw everything away and stick to Daniel Smith forever. Oh by the way my husband sends his regards and thanks for showing me another new product I just had to have lol. I have also invested in the 15 ml sizes. I just ADORE this series. I can't wait to get started. Hugs

Laurain!! Girl, you will not be sorry I promise you! The difference is so remarkable and the 15ml is also so much a better bang for your buck anyways so, really, you're doing yourself a huge favor 😂 Lastly, these tubes are still small so, if in an emergency, you can quickly and easily stash them under a pillow or behind a coffee mug away from unsuspecting men-folk!! My husband would ring my neck if he knew what I was spending too!! 😳🤣

@@KarenCampbellArtist I hear you I love them such a difference, I have never tried a watercolour paint with such a beautiful hue. Actually they aren't that expensive because the tiniest bit goes such a long way.

This is a wonderful collab with your friend. Your style is so eloquent and magical. The way the pigments blends you mean? You created a word. Watercolor is my weakness too but I love the look of it. I tend to go too fast. I'm trying to slow down. I love your loose strokes and color placement.

Thank you Linda, I know, I so love doing these too, I want to do a billion more BUT I am sitting down working on my next book so more of the mashups will have to wait until the summer I think and the book is finished! Pf course I will still post videos on Fridays, they just wont be a mashup for a bit 😭. I have a book..."how to draw and paint fairies" by Linda Ravenscroft I love and hate this book I love all the elements but hate the faces! I hate the faces big time but love the book ..Is this possible? Am I on that journey to incorporate my style from different references? I love the book but hate the fairy faces.

My favorite medium is oil but I currently can't paint with them, but plan to when I go home in October. My second would be markers.

I am painfully addicted to watercolors. Like I really should check myself into a rehab to get it under control, but where's the fun in that? Besides, I have paints coming in the mail, a couple sets of them actually hahaha. I have it bad. I just got 3 other ones in the last 2 weeks or so, but who's counting .? And you are doing just fine treating them the way you are, very loose and wild works great with watercolors. They aren't as uptight as a lot of people think they are. They can throw back shots just as easily as they can sip camomile tea and nibble butter cookies . Mmmmmm cookies. I'm loving this series btw 🤗
