Well, this was an enchanted experience. From the monsters, to the song, to the atmosphere, just..mwa! Well, it's time I go in-depth. God save me. This review is gonna be really long 😭 Starting with the monsters! Have fun reading :> Elodee. It has a decent sound, helps out the song. Though, what I really like about this monster is it's lore, like, having a monsters entire look be based off of it's interdimensional travels (read the bio for more info) is SICK! Well, anyway, I think theres one thing we all want out of this review. THE GIANT ENEMY SPIDE- Vadoustik is uh..yeah, it's there, alright! This thing uh..I guess it adds to the song? But, design wise, I'm not sure I even WANT to know what's under that things mask 😭 Enough about this guy, too creepy.. Gektyle is the literal foundation behind this island. Without Gektyle, the song would be REALLY empty. Don't believe me? Remove it from the song, you'll see. Design wise, it's okay. I like de goofee eyes 🤤 Ladybow is a nice addition. Adds a decent amount, makes the song feel less empty. The design is also neat. I remember when Nova forgot to animate it's eyes, and it became an inside joke in the discord server for a small bit. Though, I still like to think it's great at staring contests. But, what I'm wondering most, how does this thing digest food???? Frocket is rockin'!!! I didn't expect it to be so great in the song, let alone individually. Well, EYE guess EYE see where Nova was going for this one. The over-abundance of eyes is weird though. Hm. Berrytia used to be my favorite. Definiely not anymore, but it's still great. Like, look at this thing, I feel like I could smash it to a pulp and it wouldn't get a scratch. It's just a lil guy!! Shawllow sure isn't shallow. Frick you, bio! This guy adds a bunch! I find it cool how it's a Hawlo relative, AND that it uses concept art for it's design. Though, if it looks as it does right now, I wonder what Hawlo looks like underneath the wood.. Lulabell was really unexpected. It came out on a random night without warning. And, the most shocking part - it's a Lullabie relative. For the uncultured folk - go to Slumber Island. Sound-wise, it's good!! Fills out it's verse well. Swashnuckle is just.. huh?? I mean, yes, don't get me wrong, trAnsItion mOnstEr how COOL!! But like...Really?? I mean, I know Nova said it's an extra but like...a blue bean pirate?? Anyway, get the ya-ha-har out of here! Funglo is the only bass monster, surprisingly. Apparently, it's also as lazy as one can get. I don't know how you would mix a bass, a shroom and a lazy personality, but..uh....HUMONGOUS FUNGU Holy guacamole, HOW IS THIS THING GOOD?? I thought Bidibub would be a filler monster, but this thing is the literal back bone of it's verse. Like, HUH??? This crazy-frog sounding DOOFUS has NO right being this useful to the song. Well, at least the designs funny. Huh. We reached the final monster already, wow! Qubit was a surprise, it's the 2nd extra along with Swachnuckle, and it shows! But I still like it, alot! This thing came out at 1 AM, completely stopping my plan of releasing this review there, BUUUUUT.... Doesn't mean it's bad! And that's a nice segway to the full song. Didn't do this with the Wublin review cus 90% of it was already composed. The Full Song is BANGIN. Like, this is the peak Nova song. You won't get better than this, probably. It feels...almost...enchanted, in a way! I feel like I'm on some whimsical adventure, with my pet wiener Wally the Wiener by my side. Truly, a great song. Now to the final part, the ranking of all the monsters..from worst to best.....kill m In 12th place, Swashnuckle. WHAT THE FU 11. Vadoustik What..is this thing?? WHAT IS THIS THI 10. Elodee What?? Since it's the first monster doesn't mean it's S tier, people! 9. Ladybow It serves it's purpose well. That's all I have to say. 8. Shawllow Well, it is a very impactful monster, doesn't mean it's amazing. 7. Berrytia It's decent. That's all. WHAT ELSE DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SA 6. Qubit It cool! ! ! 5. Bidibub WHY IS THIS SO HIGH ON THE LIS 4. Lullabell I like it alot! 3. Gektyle I like the instrument and melody. 2. Frocket Wait, this things my second favorite?? 1. Enchanted Island is the best fanmade island I've ever heard! My one complaint is that Qubit, (My favorite monster on this island), is barely audible but other than that, the song is great!
