See, what I hate about people looking for chase cards, is that they forget the good cards in between. I've seen so many people gloss over a Rapunzel and even a Tamatoa...not a knock on you, I'm just saying, I'd be more excited to pull a legend Elsa or Belle rather than complain about I didn't get an Enchanted.

What a great opening! I’m not into TCGs but these are some cool cards. My favorite was the foil Genie. Always loved that character because he was voiced by Robin Williams. The case hit kinda looks like a Pokemon EX in design and style. So close to 10k. You must do a live to celebrate.

Anything Disney does look incredible including the 100 set. Thing about Disney they have immense reach and buyers of their products. Even though I am not a TGC guy the collectability and art is amazing. I would say do more as early set is probably going to be in demand. Great as always sir! Keep ripping!

Just got these cards as well. Well, a starter deck and two boosters. When I tried to look up to buy more online I saw everything was pretty much sold it everywhere already. Scalpers I guess... Hope my game shop will still have the chance when I come next to play.

Great box, that belle is huge! Glad they included Robin Hood in this set because he was excluded from the kakawow phantom set. However, lorcana didn't include my other favorite, The Jungle Book smh. Nice product overall.

Maybe the Kipling family still holds the rights to the Jungke Book IP and haven’t given their permission for it to be used in this game yet? I know something similar happened with Tarzan and some Kingdom Hearts games.

Bought two boxes and 1 of each deck, but didn't arrive yet. I was thinking of opening just one, but I think I'd rather gamble for an enchanted. The decks will stay closed though. Nice pull there. I bet the princesses are worth the most.

I hate to say this, but your LCS could be in hot water for letting those booster boxes out ahead of street date for LCS (Friday). It's a much bigger deal in TCG's than sports. I have a box on pre-order from my LGS for MSRP to pick up this weekend, which should be nice! Once these boxes hit the Disney store, the cards should hopefully be cheaper for players like myself.

Trying to find it is turning out to be an issue...I`d like 4 or 5 boxes but can`t seem to find any here in PA

I do know, near my better 1/2s work there's a card shop, but it's mainly Pokémon, TCG, etc...Wasn't sure if that would be more likely or if Wamart, Target, etc..would have them like Pokémon. I think this game will be for the rich people and content creators, since most get subsidies or use their CC money to buy these. I don't see this being for the average person even getting anything easy. Scalpers will ruin the game. The day it comes out Best Buy and other shops will be sold out, boxes will be $400+ online only, decks, singles will be through the roof for basic cards.

There was a ton of this at my walmart restock yesterday and I decided to pass on it. I do think there is going to be a lot of value in it based on Disney and their brands fan base globally. But I just couldn’t bring myself to spend money on / support Disney with what their company has become over the last few years. Especially as a father. But I do know I could’ve made some profit! Fortunately I’m a collector first lol

From what I've seen from GenCon box openings, Enchanted Rares are definitely rarer than one per box. You get about 4-6 (non-foil) Legendaries per box on average. This guy hit a good number of foil Rares/Super Rares, even that foil Jasper Uncommon is good too because it's a very playable card. This is near as it can get to god-box territory.

Collectors that don't play (like this guy) and "Disney Adults" that must have everything Disney (or at least everything with their favorite characters on it) should help keep the sales going. I'm curious to see how much interest there is in organized play. It appears Ravensburger is going pretty hard on getting that going. I have 3 local game stores in my area that I know are hosting casual play starter deck events, with at least two of them scheduling regular weekly play. The 2nd card set is already scheduled to come out before year's end, so maybe this thing will have legs.

@@darkpraxis Collecting and playing are like yin & yang, imo. They reinforce each other. Card games that are popular in both aspects have stood the test of time. I think Lorcana is on track to achieve that.

from all the videos of me seeing someone pull an enchanted rare I’ve seen them all be pulled from the bottom of the box which is very easy for scammers to take out the enchanted rares and put dud packs in the box

Chapter 2 to be released before Christmas, I don't think it will be printed to oblivion, they've seen Digimon and Pokemon the past 5 yrs and ain't doing that

I feel like this is just a continuation of junkwax 2.0. These are a lot nicer than the Disney cards of the 90s, but I'm sure they are more expensive.

Real question is: Will you actually play a game with these cards? Or will you just feed them through PSA and flip them, and get rid of the rest... not judging. Just seeing what your intent is. I wouldn't blame you for riding the hype train of a new product.

I will sell a lot of the cards but I’m pretty invested into Lorcana’s success. I see it more as an investment than something I would play, yes. The Belle and D23 Mal are long term holds. I’m going to take some of the cards to Miami tcg convention in October and get them signed.

Hope they print the ever living shit out of this BBs already selling for $300, scalpers have to fuck with everything.

Sorry but this is the most painful unboxing of Lorcana I’ve watched so far. Great Belle pull but honestly highly undeserving. The way you skipped past the rares and ultra rares like they where nothing. What you called rare is legendary cards and the fact that you have some value in the foils with rare and ultra rares but because you didn’t do you homework studying the symbols you missed truly how valuable that box really was. Sorry but extremely disappointing and painful to watch.
