This portion of the song is so addictive, damn Camilo really spices this song up! The English voice is my biggest favorite for now, he sounds like a smooth criminal! My other favorites are Spanish and Italian (surprisingly, I didnt like the German one much even tho it is the same singer).

@@katlynnbos1790 yes, most of them did, the ones that made the voices of Abuela, tía Pepa, Julieta, tío Felix, and Mariano at least as those actors are actually Colombians.

It's interesting to see the differences and similarities between the languages Like how 'rat ' is different but always recognisable in the European languages Or how European languages place Bruno at the end of the sentence, but Asian languages often place it at the start

It's funny, bc when you listen to polish version you can hear something that sounds like "rat", but it's actually "brat" which means "brother" and "rat" is "szczur" xD

I love the Russian version (my native language), but the other versions sound great (I also like the English and Spanish versions). as a dane who hasn't seen Encanto yet due to it being in limited cinemas, I was really quite surprised by the danish dub of this song !! And very surprised that so many people like the danish version so much !! it's smooth and just in general fantastic, I might be biased due to being danish, but I usually prefer the original version of disney songs- very excited about seeing it this christmas !! I have high hopes for this movie !

The animation was really great, it was colorful and the themes of the movie are modern problems in families, and the characters are so loveable, you can really feel that they are a family living together ! But I secretly wished that movie would've been a serie, because I feel like the character development and the general ambiance would've been more detailed, 'cause I feel like they could go further on this subject, and it would've been possible in a serie format Plus, the translation (i'm french) was a little weird in the musics sometimes, but it's nothing much (Can be considered as spoiler, but it's not much really, i don't give any important details on the movie) The movie was particulary interesting too ! It doesn't focus on action and more on the family, and it's really refreshing (End of the spoiler) In general i really appreciated it, I totally recommand (I'm a big fan of pretty much everyone in the family, but my personal favorites are Camilo and Bruno)

Or maybe a spin-off would make a lot of sense since there's plenty of characters we could get to know better Don't worry about the French version, I think there's no romance-language-speaking country that made a decent adaptation of the songs (beginning with Italian, my native version). Again, can't wait to see it (who knows, maybe at the theater?) and I think I'll share my favorite characters with you :) btw thank you for letting me know your opinion on the movie, I really appreciate it💙💙💙

I think what makes the Spanish version so much better than others from my pov is how young he sounds

I've been disappointed by most Finnish dubs in the past few years but this sounds really good. Out of all versions in this video my favourite is definitely Polish, because I like how he does that growly voice on every shapeshift and he sounds like he's very into the song which matches the character's facial expressions and body language perfectly.

I’m just confused as why I can’t find the other dubs. Wikis list Icelandic, Czech, Romanian, and Hungarian as having come out over a month ago. So they SHOULD be easy to locate.

The reason they're harder to find is there's no official soundtrack released in these languages (just like the low quality versions in this video), so you just have to hope someone records it at the theater

Okay my two favourite version are French (I love pronounciation so much ahhh) and Spanish, they both have such addicting voices! French probably also sounds the most age appropriate with English (which I also like a lot! His acting is amazing) still a bit old though 😭 Germany's singer sounds really good, I love his voice, but he sounds WAY too old 🥲 the singer is 30 and for being double the age he's doing a pretty good job, but it's still very noticeable. If Camilo was like 20, it's would've been perfect! (but that can be said for most version lmao) BUT I will say the German version "Isabella, dein Freund ist hier!" (Isabella your boyfriend's here") is one of my favourite the way he says it is so funny (and he also sounds great singing with all the others, the German cast has a great harmony!)

I agree with everything you said, there are so many other excellent versions (as you mentioned, German, but lots of others) that are far from appropriate for a teenage boy. Also love that "Isabella dein Freunde ist hier", Álvaro definitely had fun with this dub!

@@TOTO-5 kinda. Some characters had an accent, meanwhile others had neutral colombian accents( Mirabel for the most part). I think it is like that so all people in both latin america and spain can get everything they say correctly. IF the movie was filled with full colombian accent or slang it could be difficult for the other hispanic countries to understand.

I'm back after having watched the movie twice in a row (and crying like a baby both times might I add). And while Russian and Croatian still do things to my heart, I must say that now that I understand what's going on and the characters I've absolutely fallen in love with my version. As biased as it might be I find Spanish Camilo absolutely perfect and I regret nothing. Russian is still a strong second, though

Complimenti per il video, è stupendo. Onestamente ogni versione è davvero bella e sebbene Álvaro Soler non mi abbia granché entusiasmato, direi che non è il peggior talent castato negli ultimi anni da Disney Italia (coff...Mengoni...coff). Ad ogni modo, ho visto al cinema Encanto e... non aspettare che arrivi su Disney+ hahaha, davvero credo che renda molto meglio in sala, ma libero di scegliere. Lo dico perché ho trovato il film stupendo (visivamente soprattutto), e per farmi piacere un film Disney moderno dobbiamo tornare a circa 5 anni fa, quindi altamente consigliato😉

Contentissimo che ti sia piaciuto :) Già, in questo pezzo tutti i cantanti son davvero azzeccati, compreso Álvaro che secondo me ha fatto un ottimo lavoro, anche se mi spaventa un po' per i dialoghi :/ Se riesco andrò al cinema a vederlo, visto che dopo uno scetticismo iniziale mi sono innamorato di tutto: trama, colonna sonora, personaggi, animazione... tutto mi dà l'impressione che ci abbiano messo il cuore per realizzare questo film. E comunque se, come mi aspetto, mi piacerà, vorrà dire che per me saranno passati 11 anni dall'ultimo classico che riesco ad apprezzare a pieno...
