We don't see too much in the original story and it isn't shown in this animatic, but were all these people who have been almost exploiting her family gifts really nice to the girl with nothing to exploit?

This might sound silly or stupid to most, but if you really think about it, it’s the candle that started everything. Including Lady Abuela’s toxicity and mindless strive towards perfection, which in turn destroys everything in the end thanks to the only true happiness/hope in the family breaks, and turns into what the rest of that neglectful family acted like she was

Sometimes I subconsciously smile even when there isn't a real reason so I'm contemplating whether or not I should smile since the song is a banger.

Lydia(op) is truly amazing for creating such song like its sentimental, and is fully centered on Mirabel's feelings and outcomes of the ignorance of her family. I really enjoyed this song when it first came out and seeing this early 'reaction' videos like this is amazing fr. Loved the video and it really made me think that most of them would have reacted this way, I would've personally seen Camilo freak out and blame it on himself(in a pov) and Abuela be more like concerned that Mirabel would have did all that and continue be ignorant and shout that Mirabel is not worthy or sum like that

@@Akiku2 well they did try and honestly they tried to get her to believe that she was just as special and always took time to help her unlike the rest of her family that tended to forget her or degrade her and yes I know that they forgot her in the picture but at the same time I think that Julieta and Augustus were the only ones that cared that there daughter was missing instead of being worried they might loose there home and gifts they were more worried about making sure Mirabel was safe all the rest of the unmentioned family either blamed Mirabel or acted like nothing was wrong I believe that her mom and dad would have rather lost everything that made them special than loose there daughter and another argument Julieta was the only Madrigal who didn't speak terribly about Bruno and even expressed her grief to Mirabel quote " your tio Bruno lost his way in the family I don't want you to lose you too" which could be interpreted many different ways but the way I see it is that she was expressing that she couldn't save/help him so she would try her best not to loose Mirabel as well. Also little theory it is shown that Julieta is very meticulous in how she cooks and with Bruno stealing food from the kitchen she very likely knew that Bruno was still with them considering that they probably just disappeared without a trace and she knows the kids are in bed again a theory Sorry if it sounds like I'm angry I just explain a lot and I somehow always sound like I hate what the other person say but I just like giving my ideas as well You actually brought up a good point on maybe she believes they didn't protect her enough so thank you for making me think
