Hoy me propuse escucharla con detenimiento y mis ojos no pudieron contener las lágrimas que brotaron por el sentimiento de colombiano, por el orgullo de contar con un cantante que tiene una voz y un sentimiento tan grande, por el sentimiento de un hijo que con la película recordó a una madre que antes de su vuelo hacia el todopoderoso, lo dio todo por su familia, que nos cambió nuestro futuro al luchar abiertamente ante la adversidad de nuestro país en ese momento y que al quedar viuda se vino a los Estados Unidos y sin temor a una nueva tierra, idioma y temperatura muchas veces inclemente, nos reclamó uno por uno para que nuestra vida y la vida de nuestros hijos cambiara y hoy seamos una familia que manteniendo la sencillez y humildad, ha producido profesionales que nos enorgullecen. Cin está hermosa canción de fondo, deseo hacer un homenaje a todas esas Maribel Madrigal de Colombia y el mundo que ante la adversidad se transformaron en oruguitas, mas tarde crisálidas y luego en hermosas mariposas que volaron alto por amor a su familia.

For those who say that doesnt understand it. I will try to describe it to you: Its about two caterpillars, that are in love, and hungry in a world that changes and keep changing every day. They are forced to grow, apart, and find their own future. Because when the two caterpillars become cocoons they were separated. Each one needed to grow apart to become a butterfly... a miracle. I'm not one to talk about my feelings or be brought easily to tears, yet here I am, holding out pieces of my broken heart for all to behold. Overwhelmed with emotion, I am humbled. No one knows this of me in my life, however I am telling strangers of my most secret vulnerability. In most cases Im as stoic as a mighty oak. Upon hearing this touching masterpiece, I uncontrollably weep from a place deep within. Confronted by its truth and beauty it convicts me of my failure to change into what i I should have been. Forcing me to both mourn and rejoice; for my loss of the great love I once had, yet simultaneously have great hope for my 2 little caterpillars. A hope that one day they will grow into butterflies and find something wonderful as I had with their mom, but couldn't hold onto, they will hold tight. In tears of pain and joy this is the song which makes me believe they will find their way and not lose it. They will grow in grace and beauty. Receiving that true inner happiness maturing with love, which they are most deserving of. I never speak of this but Sebastian Yatra found a way to bring it out of me. Thank you for this gift you shared with the world.
