For 30 years and counting, legendary music group En Vogue has been raising their voices in beautiful harmonies. It takes passion, dedication and lots of hard work to make it this far. So, to celebrate their landmark Pearl anniversary commemorating the release of their debut album, Born to Sing, (April 3, 1990) with their fans, En Vogue is unleashing the “Funky Divas” visual podcast---available on all platforms and En Vogue KZread Channel. The ladies share their collective journey, detailing everything from how En Vogue came to be to how they flipped the meaning of the word ‘diva’ and more. How the legendary En Vogue brand came to be, behind-the-scenes details on their wicked fashions, touring and other milestone moments with exclusive interviews from En Vogue founders Foster and McElroy and a host of other ‘surprise’ special guest. It’s been an incredible 30 years and the ladies of En Vogue are here to take you on the journey!

Welcome to the official KZread channel of chart-topping female R&B vocal group, En Vogue. En Vogue was formed by producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy under the vision of a modern R&B girl group with strong vocals, intelligence, and show-stopping glamour. Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron, Maxine Jones, and Terry Ellis made the cut out of 3,000 women who auditioned. The group was an immediate hit upon their first single in 1990 and set the standard for female vocal groups. Through the evolution of the lineup to the current members of Herron-Braggs, Ellis, and Rhona Bennett, En Vogue continues to tour, release new music, and dazzle and inspire fans everywhere. En vogue when i first heard hold on the intro alone made the tune, but also the hip-hop connection with LL cool Js boomin system made the whole sound even more appealing I always hold you guys as the 1st ones to bring that whole RNB Hip-Hop movement #best harmonies

They need to reunite the original girls. They came to Michigan a few times but I wasn't trying to pay to see this version. Work it out with the OG girls. No shade to Rhona.

The 3 of 'YOU' can't do a SOLD out concert, however The Original En Vogue CAN + Rona as an added Bonus....geesh Cinday&Terri FIX IT! I'd pay $500 a ticket to see The Originals, imagine how many people feel just like me? There's only a few folks I'd dish out money like that 2see perform.

I thought Dawn and Maxine would show up. They should have stayed together to keep the integrity of the group. And went independent. They didn't owe anybody anything after the first and especially second album. We're decades later and it's still going on? Come on. It should never have happened in the first place. Bell Biv Devoe is New Edition. But not all of it. There's really no En Vogue without all the girls.

I will always be a big fan of En Vogue, but I really miss the original line up. Dawn was always my favorite; though I didn't know their individual names back then when they were in their prime, as I was still a kid, they were one hot girl group who can sing and harmonize so well. I always considered them the female version of Boys II Men, both groups could really sing and were out and popular around the same time.
I need a podcast where you guys talk about max and damn and how ev fractured... side note its soooo eerie how Rhona voice sounds exactly like max

I think it's a pic they took around the time of the photoshoot for the Funky Divas cover?? I can't recall ever seeing it, myself, but I think the jewels and leather jackets were used for the pic printed on the original CD (physical)??

Rhona just skipping over THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB & The Jamie Foxx show. Rhona had a LEGIT RESUME pre-EV.
There seemed to be tension between Cindy and Rhona! I just saw them last month in concert and they were AMAZING!
What happened to the other two members?
The originals, not this!! No love lost to Rona!🤷🏽♀️
Take note that they decided to be selfish and force Dawn and Maxine from using “The Funky Divas” name and now Cindy and Terry are using it for this podcast 😒🙄

It seems unauthentic without the Dawn and Maxine. No disrespect to Rhona, who is a very gifted artist in her own right.

Yes this isn't En Vogue. And I think Rhona is great. Just that the four needed stay together and be independent if any of them was having problems or unhappy with legitimate reason. Artists have taken full control of their work. And were able to get much more accomplished. They had so much potential that was being held back. I don't understand why some of them insisted on staying with clearly terrible contacts when they didn't owe anybody anything.

Express I totally agree w/you, it makes no sense at all! The money that they could be made w/tours and sold out concerts would be incredible. Its so sad that we as women let our egos and 'jealousy'....yep I said jealousy (I hate to use the word, however its usually the root cause) get the best of us. I've seen it happen with myself and my friends, trust me it happens at ANY age. We were in our mid 40s when conflicts began 2occur, now we'll all be 50 and I know its the same case with En Vogue. Idc how much they pretend....its NOT the same w/out Max&Dawn. It's like trying to do Xscape w/out LaTocha & Tiny.

Terry & Cindy own the trademark. The 90's were their heyday and the term "Funky Divas" is synonymous with the En Vogue brand. Use your brain.
