They are great mirrors, and I wish I had bought some years ago. I had suction attachment mirrors a few years ago, but they occasionally fell off and also obscured the car rear view mirror. I purchased a set of EMUK mirrors after having cracked my rear view mirror glass on my BMW trying to fit Milenco Falcon mirrors. I particularly like the quick attachment and detachment; once you have set up the mirror for your vehicle you can take them on and off quickly, without having to readjust the next time you attach them. Thanks for the useful demo video.

We have been using them for our last 3 trips and they have been the best thing ever. I cannot get the normal ones to actually fit our Tow Car anyway. Thanks again Phil.👍🙂

I've had the EMUK towing mirrors for almost 2 years and they are just superb. One small remark regarding the anti-theft solution. You don't need to insert the yellow "key" when tightening the mirrors - only when you wish to unfasten them. Easy and simple to use.

Had these for my BMW X3 (notoriously difficult to get milenco mirrors to fit without cracking the wing mirror casing), they're very expensive but once you get over the price and actually start using them, you wonder why you never paid for them before. I got rid of my BMW and sold the EMUK mirrors for half the cost of purchase but when I got my Ford Ranger, I could have used my old milenco mirrors, I instead decided that the EMUK mirrors were much better quality and once initially fitted is so easy to take off and put back on again. PS - apologies for anyone that calls them side mirrors or door mirrors, I'm 51 now and they will always be wing mirrors 😂😂

Hi Paul. Yep Wing Mirrors for me to😂 it's an age thing. I have notice a lot of comments on Social Media and this video complaining of broken mirror casings. On my previous Car the A6 they scratched the casings. These fit so well and quick to fit and remove as you say. Many Thanks for taking the time to comment. Phil👍🙂

Great video review. There were no UK reviews when we purchased a set for our XC90 last July. They are expensive but seem well made and have stood up well over the winter towing trips and once set up are easy to install and remove with one wing nut to secure. We had some minor vibration on one trip but we were driving in very high blustery winds. I cut 100mm from each tube to remove excessive protution beyond the mirror housing and also put some felt patches on the clamping face to prevent scratching of the mirror housing. This small surface should really have a neoprene strip fitted. The cast arm is not an exact fit (talking millimeters) but the neoprene strip takes up the profile and in my opinion without all those multitude of clamps, screws and packing pieces that other mirrors require they look great and streamline. Definately recommend these mirrors.

Hello Thanks for taking the time to comment. Like yourself I had to cut 70mm from my mirrors as my car is not as wide. So far I have been very pleased with them. Yes you are quite right they are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for in this case and also if you are keeping your Tow Car for a period. I feel you get value for money. I think I will add some form of coating to the clamp as well. I am pleased you like your mirrors and they work for you. Thanks again Phil👍🙂

I did. the same, unfortunately my mirrors didn’t fit my new car in the way I’d like. I’ve used them, but if I keep using them I’m going to crack the scull caps from having to clamp down at a vulnerable point.

I have a set of these for my 5 series BMW and they are brilliant definitely a upgrade from others that I have had.

They look good, well manufactured to suit your car. The lock is ok for overnight stops, we take our mirrors off when we get on site as it’s illegal to leave them on on the road when not towing. Will have to save up for them £££££! Thanks for sharing Phil.

Hi Martin Yes you are right the locks are for over night stops etc. Yes it is illegal to drive your vehicle with the mirrors on when not towing. These Mirrors are not the cheapest however I have had lots of the plastic ones that have either broke or not fit correctly. Whats the price of peace of mind? Thanks Phil🙂👍

Great review, I purchased some last year for my kia after losing 2 milenco mirrors in 2 years through vibration, not cheap but the trip to southern Spain and back proved a great success no vibration and quick and easy to fit. Best I've owned in over 35 years of caravaning.

Nice review, I've now ordered a set of mirrors for my car. It will be so nice not to have to arrange and setup the Milenco mirrors every time I attach them for towing. It will also be nice not having to remember to disable the autofold on the car mirrors when attaching the towing mirrors.

Hi Glyn. They are very solid fixings and very well made. They are a little long but can be cut down. Not cheap but offer good value for money and don’t need adjustment and will not damage you wing or door mirrors. Yes I remember my grandma’s mk 1 cortina having the large wing towing mirrors😂 I was thinking of doing a video of the history of towing mirrors and the different types. I don’t think enough would be interested. Thanks Phil 👍🙂

I remember fitting them to my Shogun many years ago Phil very substantial but pretty useless as I remember lol , think the Volvo was the towcar of choice then with a wind slammer on the roof 😆

Very clear appraisal of these excellent looking towing mirrors. I will be sticking to my milenco's because they are a bit too expensive for me. Great video as usual. Many thanks.

I understand if they fit your car and work for you. I feel if you are keeping your car for a length of time for me these are worth off set against the money I have wasted on other brands. Thanks for reviewing these mirrors, I’ve just bought a pair for my VW Arteon, as the other well known brand, doesn’t really fit well and is damaging my mirror backing due to the clamp position

Thanks as ever for the useful vid. I mysteriously lost one of my mirrors presumably on site somewhere 🤔 Thankfully, we were able to procure a single matching mirror courtesy of a certain online store... I actually tilt each mirror down (to see the flanks of the car) and that provides a bit more space to fasten the extension mirror on 🤗

Hi Martin. Like you I have lost Towing Mirrors or they have broken on me. These seem to be the answer but they are not the cheapest around. But I suppose you get what you pay. With these Mirrors you do not have to adjust your door mirror to fit them. Maybe a long term investment depending how long you keep your tow car. Thanks Phil🙂👍

Well explained Phil 👍. It’s about time someone manufactured towing mirrors to match the shape of vehicle door mirrors. To match the vehicle paintwork is an added bonus too 😀. When painted I like the fact they would look like a genuine vehicle manufactures accessory. I was wondering do they protrude more than your old towing mirrors ? Great video. Cheers, Rob

Rob, I've got a pair of these for my Ford Ranger, they do protrude a bit further than milenco mirrors etc, however some people take the rubber end cap off, cut them down a bit with a hacksaw, then reinsert the end cap, obviously you may not want to do that if you're towing an 8ft wide caravan but for those of us that don't, it's an easy fix

Hi Colin. These are not cheap but they do the job well. They do make them for you tow car but no sense in replacing if your originals do the job for you. Having had the Skoda before I know Milenco mirrors do not fit no matter which type you buy. Thanks for watching Phil.🙂👍

Back of mirror just missing a safety highlight on it, as Milenco, so drivers coming towards you are awake to the oncoming protrusion.

Hi. You can copy and paste this reply if it helps. I have checked they are E Marked on the rear of the mirror casing. If they were not they still comply with the Uk's Towing Mirror laws (Road Traffic Act). There is a legal requirement for you to have mirrors that allow you to see clearly an area that is 4 metres wide from the side of your caravan at a distance 20 metres behind the driver. A caravan is significantly wider than a car even a large 4x4 and you simply can't comply with the law unless you fit towing mirrors. Great mirrors, I have them for my MAZDA CX60. Fit perfectly, no vibrations and easy to install On the Skoda Superb I had the OPPI mirrors, not bad, but the EMUKs are much better
