Emu war (1932) of Australia, also known as the Great Emu War,was a nuisance wildlife management military operation undertaken in Australia. On one side were soldiers of the Australian Army, and on the other side were the mighty emus. Emu is the second largest bird of the world. The number of emus running amok and destroying agricultural fields of farmers had created concerns and therefore the Army, equipped with Lewis guns and 10000 rounds was called in to deal with the situation.
