The van seats are awesome!!! So bright and beautiful. So exciting to see Goldie laying eggs. In all my 63 years, this is a first for me. Have a great day everyone ❤

Isn’t it amazing how vibrant the emu eggs are coming from a drab colored bird. They look like they should be peacock eggs ! 😀

I saw this last year when they had a male sitting on a nest ... It was Amazing to see ... They do a Fantastic job hatching those huge eggs !!! 😊

So good to see Tommy, Redneck and the gang. I just am anxious to see what happens with the emu eggs. This could be exciting.

Boy, the upholsterer did an amazing job matching the plaids and everything. Great work.

Set up a trail cam near the nest. Would make some fascinating watching. Does Goldie need extra food/nutrition laying all these eggs?

Nugget is the one who's going to need extra food and nutrients. Once the male sits on the nest; he doesn't get up for any reason until the eggs hatch. According to what I've read we're talking 60 days! The male loses weight during that time - it's a 2-month fast.

Spring is in the air

I heard it! I did not know emus did that! The color of those eggs are beautiful! I just love the way Nugget poses for the camera enough to see that crazy hair and pretty eyelashes. ❤❤

You have to smile when you see daffodils!😊❤ God Bless! Maybe Goldie got in the mood when she saw that beautiful sunset! Nugget will sit when she lays enough eggs! He knew enough to mate with her, he will know enough when to sit on them! He will sit when she is finished laying, then you must bring food to him, because he won't get up until they hatch! ❤

Put a camera on the tree next to Goldie's nest....Fascinating to watch....

Have faith in Nugget, Jason ... but if you just can't muster your faith in Nugget, have faith in Mother Nature! LOL 😁

It's exciting to see how the farm evolves, the different seasons, the way the animals adapt so well to their new and lovingly created spaces and of course the potential of new life. This is indeed my happy place!

Love looking at the flowers & hearing the birds singing. Just reminds me of when I was a young girl. Peaceful, easy & fun times they were. Thank you Jason & Brooke!

We had a 70s VW bus 4 speed standard in the early 90s with Porche engine (don't recall all, bought used). Was so fun in the deep snow. Engine weight over rear drive wheels it would power through through the a worst like a snowmobile. Dress warm though. No radiator = no heat. We put a little convection propane heater in but still cold compared to a regular rig.

Love watching all the animals say ‘good morning’ to you!

Miss Goldie must feel safe, comfortable and relaxed at her new home. I'm sure this makes her previous owners very happy. ❤

If you move Loretta & Gus to a larger pen, you're gonna need to put GPS trackers on their dishes! The upholstery is _perfect!_ i'd be really proud that he kept some of the original vinyl. Kind of ties it to its history. I've got an '86 Chevy step-side that i having work done on, (heavy auto mechanics not my strong suit) and i have whoever does the work date & sign the underside of the hood.

My daughter (age 4) LOVES thr Cog Hill Kids videos and loved Loretta. Yesterday she ran around with something in her mouth pretending to he Loretta with her pumpkin. And she drew pictures of Gus and Loretta.

Jason those emu eggs are so beautiful the colors of nature are so awesome to behold. I know that your wife said she's not into art and crafts but I think she's a natural. once you know for sure that the eggs aren't good to hatched. See if you can drill a small litter hole in it and drain it to dry it out. If you can do more than one, at least 3 they will be a beautiful presentation inside a bowl on a mantle or one of your tables .❤

My goodness Emu eggs! What an incredible surprise, they’re so beautiful. Has Mary Carl gone out and taken some photos? She’s such a beautiful photographer. Goldie’s letting you know she’s comfortable on your farm and adjusting well or maybe that’s the only way she can make a payment for her food and room & board. Lol. I love Loretta’s hair! ❤❤

Cats are so funny. It doesn’t matter if they still have food in their bowl. If they can see a sliver of the bottom of the bowl, they think the world is about to end. 😂

LOL! Loretta has perfected the best, no thumbs required, alarm clock! Why get up worried about missing breakfast, when you can ensure that Jason will wake you up? She has figured out that getting up early and standing by the fence waiting for Jason to feed her, is counter productive to sleep. Because she was left standing impatiently by the gate while Jason searched for her bowl. Problem solved! Sleep with the bowl and Jason will wake you up when he gets there, and by the time she mosies down to the gate, Jason has the food ready! 😂😅😊

Goldie’s last egg looks like a small watermelon! I sure hope you get at least one or two babies out of those eggs. Brooke, you’re not looking to spunky today, I hope you’re not feeling crumby again 🙏🏻, I’ll say a little prayer for you sweet lady. I’m jealous of that gorgeous sunset you had tonight, enjoy it! ♥️🙏🏻🇨🇦

We have been watching for over 2 years & it aways feels like a family conversation during the lives. You bring us up close to the critters with everything except smellovision.
