Very good intro to EMT fittings. I’m an electrician and you taught me a few things. Thanks. It would be nice to have you give technical comparisons of your connectors and the electrical counterpart. That way a builder can be certain they are using the correct hardware for their project.

Nice educational video. I used some of the couplers and 90’s before discovering Maker Pipe. They can be useful for situations where maximum strength is not needed and sometimes they fit where MP may be too big.

Great video. What's the advantage of buying the connectors and stuff from Maker Pipe versus a box box store?

Thanks for the comment and question. The connectors at the big box store are designed for electrical work and the connectors that we make are made specifically for DIY projects. Our products aren't in stores yet but fingers cross for the future.

EMT is not pipe, it's tubing Have to be carefull with some of the POS garbage that big box stores sell. NEVER purchase or use garbage die cast fittings especially crap made in India. Code does not require bushings for conduit with all of the wires smaller then #6 guage. If you install garbage die cast fittings and move the conduit say more then 15 degrees it often egg shaped &/or cracks. Best practice is to run 3/4" RMT instead of 1/2" from circuit breaker panels to first pull box in case you need to add additional circuits. 99.9% of the time you never need a two hole strap to secure conduit. Sparkies call the pipe hanger straps mineralacs or mini's.
