Just a thought.... putting the hot glue design on baking/parchment paper might make it even easier to remove. This project is beautiful!

Because of transparency, if one used wax paper it might be possible to trace an object (for the artistically-challenged)

Great work. One alteration I would have done is to stick two glitter strips, sticky side together, for the handle. It will strengthen the handle and prevent dust and fluff to stick on the glue side of the single strip.

Verticals should have been applied before base wrap.
Whenever i spray paint, i use plain envelopes, card sheets etc as base so that the extra paint goes on that and they can be used too!

The caps are NO problem. I live in a farm garden and the house collects all plastic caps for recycling.
