Ditto here. Everyone knows Johns awesome, but to have that crowd give the young guy, who seems a little bit doubtful of himself at times, praise like that was really cool to see. He needed that. More and bigger things from Jordan to come soon I’m sure.

I absolutely love the steel bowties. Kinda makes me wanna revisit my idea of bordering my table with raw steel bands.

I really like how Jordan incorporated metal into his design. That table is super cool. I would totally put that in my office. I would just want the big crack filled in with some type of resin as well. The both look awesome.

Funny, I thought the contest was between Jordan and someone else when you sent me that. Now I'm even more happy with my vote

Two great tables! But I do like the metal inlays that Jordan did. So he will vet my vote. Hope this comment helps him get the table for his house! Awesome as always guys, thanks!

Jordan is maximizing combining his talent and the opportunity of being in that shop to its full potential. He's doing great things.

I grew up in a counter top shop that my gpa built and my dad ran, but I never got much into wood working. I am so happy that I discovered your channel. It takes me back to when I was a kid running around the shop watching them build shit. Thanks for the high quality content.

Just the fact you assumed Jordan did the bow ties with the CNC and he knew you would so he did it the old fashioned way says he should be able to keep his table. GREAT JOB Jordan :)

My vote is for Jordan's table. The steel bowties are an awesome idea. I also like the fact that there's a mix of wood and metal since I also like working with both and always like the combination. Good job, Jordan!

Amazing work and I love the metal bow ties. With a darker finish on Jordan's table I think it would have been an even closer decision.

Super nice tables. Love your Base and bow ties Jordan! And the finish on the masters is out of this world.

I like Jordan's bowties, I think the stitches look of John's would have been better if he had stained all the bowties darker than the table, or at least not super light as is. The stitches were an awesome concept, but Jordan's was executed better and I think looks more pleasing to the eye in the end.

I'm all in for Jordan keeping the table! He did an amazing job!

The fact Jordan did the bow ties by hand and not on the CNC shows his growth and confidence!

They're both beautiful, for sure. I voted for John's in the poll because of the contrast of the inlays against the darker finish. Seeing the steel leg design may have swayed my choice. I think Jordan picked a nicer looking cookie. I really like the look of the steel bow ties. I think I would've added one more in there and slightly smaller. I like both the leg designs and Johns top finish looks real slick.

I am apprentice carpenter (concrete form work and welding) and can tell you that it gets easier once you get confident in your ability to learn and figure it out.

Love this as a format. The John vs the other 2 videos were good too. Would love to see a more complex build task done in this fashion; hidden compartments table or something similar could be a fun challenge and show off creativity.

Same, the wood just looks better honestly and the miss matching white-ish bits just stands out too much and looks out of place with the darker finish where as the steel blends in with the wood.

Jordan, don't worry about what other people might think/say in the comments. I know for a fact I couldn't do bowties on the CNC, and that would have been cool to watch you do. That being said, you rocked this table and went out of your comfort zone and made something awesome!! Here's a vote/comment for you to keep your table (especially since it's gonna cost you lunch for everyone at Chick-fil-A. Great job guys, I liked both tables!!
