Starwalker is probably a B hero after the defense down adjustments. He doesn’t hit hard enough, most people level him only for the defense down reset damage.

A tome with 10golden emblems would be a better gift !! 🤣

I agree with the Pepperflame nerf as it is too close to Grimsteel in Growth Attack Boost. Now it seems more appropriate for a FAST Hero.

@@McNaultyYT I think the main question people have to ask is what does this mean to them and their roster. For the most players this was a positive balance update. For the top meta alliances who were heavily relying on peppers or Pophits combos will have to adapt quickly. 75% of all war hit videos on KZread are from players using those heroes combos and honestly, it was getting boring. Next war will be interesting…I think the toons are the Treasury notes or bonds of this game. Probably the safest investment right now. If you have toons, level them all. This nerf is the final nail in the coffin, the compensation just isn’t up to par when we are spending cash. Where is the reset give back for aethers and LB materials? I haven't seen the video yet and I feel the same way, this game is starting to drain me mentally. I think the initial" nail in the coffin " was the Limit Breaker, particularly the 2nd to teach 90, it made it super hard to kill the tank due to the level 90 bonus, ON TOP of the initial buff for the def team, damn tanks are going off 4-6 times per raid.

So they made some "on removal" damage not deal damage when it overwrites itself, but they did not do it for heroes like Gestalt, who wrecks anyone when placed next to Ludwig.

When I first pulled pepperflame a few months back from covenant portal I thought oh cool too bad she will be nerfed😂 surprised it took this long considering she was in so many top defenses even in rush.

Im glad pepper got nerfed tbh. She was WAY too powerful as is......an absolute nightmare paired with pophit lmao

If nerf is a possibility, they should definitely give people option of complete reset of a 5 star, returning them legendary tome of exp, alpha ethers etc.. can’t believe how people are pissed off if they have multiple copies of starwalker, peeperflame. At .5% rate, these heros are super expensive to pull. Even if they compensate all the resources for leveling and limit breaking these heros, it’s still a huge loss for them.

Yeah I get what you're saying. If they're going out of their way to put Flame on blast and put the word " Nerf" near her name, then Flame owner's should get full reset assets.

I'm upset with the compensation. I agree that pepperflame was wild, and nerfs are necessary but I'm a C2P and I find myself fortune to have the heroes I have, but in my top 5, includes Pepper, Garten, and Starwalker. Everything lady luck has given me is rotting before my eyes. Like I said I'm C2P I'm not lv heros overnight this is a commitment on time and resources and I got Gartrn and Pepperflame maxed and Starwalker finally to 4/36 2 days ago and look what's happening I'm scared to lv anyone up and they don't even compensate us like a reset or tome nothing.

C2P but with all your stats invested in luck? Luck 10, strength 0, agility 0? :))) People payed a heap of money for those 3 you mentioned and dont have them. Dont worry, pepper is still an extremely strong hero. U wont notice the difference.

Btw i used minus defence from c.kiril effect after pophit's special and it removed pophit's defence down. i dont thing this is working like it is supposed to

Ahhh Defense can be a conundrum sometimes you think it's perfect 👌 but it ain't have you tried getting your alliance mates to friendly fight you?..

My 3 Pepperflame, 3 Pophits went up in smoke after this sudden update! Another continued episode of bait & switch after making millions of dollars off its paid customers! SG did not even have the curtesy of giving us the reset tokens for these fully leveled heroes! This is my final wake-up call of never paying for SG’s soft goods! I am now moving over to Watcher of Realms, a game much better than E&P in every aspect.

5:00 i've been saying this for ages. Same rarity heroes should have similar stats. The sum of Attack + Def + Hp should always be in like a 10% margin. Its stupid that we have 5* with 400 stats less than others all around. How can you call Elradir and Odile as same class? Some of the buffs are very good. Especially for atlantis, old ch event heroes and the hotm families. Ofc, too bad its only for the costumes. But it is what it is. For the nerfs i think its less impactful that some make them to be. It ONLY means that shooting Starwalker twice wont trigger the damage when replacing the effect with the same damn effect. Its about that damage on dispell that got triggered on being hit with the same effect. If you shot Pophit and then another defense down hero, the damage was triggered on replacing the effect. That i dont think was ever meant to happen. Its exploitive and pretty silly. Took them a while to notice indeed. People running 3 pepperflame teams to wipe out everything. It simply shouldnt work like that and its an welcomed change. Unless you were using this exploit, the heroes are basically the same and people shouldnt cry about it. The effect was always meant to counter clense healers and clense in general. Replacing the effect should not count as clense. Personally i would change Clense war mechanic to state that it "safely" clenses. Elrang, Starwakler, Pophit and a lot of heroes are simply exploitive on that type of war. Its just... a bad mechanic to have in the game. Overall i think its a good update. The Bards have been buffed to counter Nautica more too.

Im verry happy now, got Grimsteel and the angry bear too, time to ascend maybe

Just to clarify something you stated at 21:49. “If you hit with Pophit and then use another defense down hero…” you state that this will not trigger the secondary dmg. That is not correct. It will trigger the secondary damage. The only that won’t trigger the secondary damage is if you replace it with the same ailment. So hitting with 2 Pophits or a Pepperflame won’t work. If you replace the ailment with the same ailment it won’t trigger. But if you replace it with a different ailment it will trigger. The ailment from Pophit and Pepperflame are different from the regular Defense down ailment.

Hi Bradley. I tested this before making the video and again now after reading your comment just to double check. Unfortunately I'm right. I tested with Pophit and then c2 Kiril... no trigger and also Pophit and then CRoc... no trigger. The nerf is real. Thanks for the comment tho 👍

I was testing it in Beta this morning and it appears that the adjustments aren’t in effect in the Beta environment! SOOOOOOOO....Alot of good changes coming about in this update. Some hereos got some much deserved boosts to help them out but I doubt we will see an uptick in usage. I REALLY want to complain about the nerfs but they were necessary but damn did they do my girl pepperflame wrong. Both my accounts have her 2LB and with max emblems and I use the sh!t out of her on titans. It hurts the soul, truly. So for the guft in the inbox...ummm..yeah so my baby account did receive the same epic tome as you but my main account....well got a bit more. A Legendary tome of Ascension, A Legendary tome of experience and five 500k food bundles. Best guess was an appreciation of some funds i spent on their website but i aint complaining.

Hi TD yep I agree the nerfs were necessary but the compensation is not good enough. I found out later they gifted based on how much you spend but still I would expect Aether reset tokens to all owners of Secondary effect ailment dealers so at least they have the choice to reset if they want to. Anyhoo life goes on and most of the updates actually seem to be geared towards a fairer balance which is a breath of fresh air. Thanks m8 🍻

Exactly. Its more like fixing an unwanted exploit. I wouldnt call this a nerf. The dmg on clense felt way too exploitive. Unfortunately replacing the same type of effect with another somehow counts like a clense.. and it shouldnt be like that. The hero its still awesome and problematic.. as all other clense punishers like Elrang, Pophit and so on. Its a minor change that will affect only the people who used this exploit.

Weird why they won't fix kettle. The worst goblin and no changes

Not in this update. Some older HOTM have received buffs but very few. I think the focus is a lot less on beefing up Heroes of the month. Basically the rarer the drop rate the higher the priority. Hopefully we will see something else for them in future 🙏

I faced Elradir on defence and applied a poison on him BEFORE he fired and when he did his reflect damage started to work after wich is horseshit and he alone cost my team to lose 3x. That reflect should only work if you attack him when he has this on fresh not to just piggyback somewhere in the middle. My view on the matter. Anyway..with every update balance they fuck even furter into ruining the already broken game.

Think they only buffed grim steel because they nerfed pepper flame

They nerf pepperflame and few others,but they didnt touch cartoons,which are much larger problem,its only greedy company who wants from you to spend more and more money for new heroes,and they nerf them so you must spend again more money.Nothing else,this game starts to remind me to a slot machine it is not same game from few years back

There should be un uproar to nerf the damn Toon passive already... Its stupid that you cannot stick any effect on a hero that has like 2000 def and 4000hp. The rest i dont mind. Ok, they are meatshields and the toon snipers deal stupid dmg. But the only way to propperly kill a toon vivica is to use HP reduction and chip her down until your dmg dealers can kill that monolith of stats... just silly imo.

The toons will get nerfed AFTER SG had gotten then all out and gotten all the money from players trying to pull them. All this in the name of "Balance". It's a horrible business model but has worked great for Zynga in the past..... right before they sunset a game with claims of "too many of the same type game or three. We will be going in a separate direction."

Yo bro, that's EXACTLY what it is and without a " gambling hotline" and/or not mention to " gambling," they should have HUGE lawsuits. In fact, I think how they monetize the game to the point where you need to BASICALLY purchase mats, Aethers, the feeder grind, sub par HOTM, summoning percentages, and how conveniently they make a hero irrelevant and usher in a new META, that's basically "consumer manipulation " and I'm PRETTY SURE somewhere in the guidelines or whatever......... what they're doing should be illegal!!!!

Nerfing pepperflame isn't okay. It's hard enough to get. Spent tons to get it. Have 2 and it's badly hit

lol your first mistake is chasing heroes in this game....spend money and use what you get. She needed a nerf super badly. Literally lvl 90 with 25 emblems she would basically kill all 3 heroes she hit! It didnt matter if they were also lvl 90 25 emblems. She did too much damage and the game is not balanced at all that way. Pair her with pophit and you have fast heroes that wipe out ANYTHING in one hit from both. The game is supposed to be fun, not a 1 hit KO to heroes that took months for some to max.

How the hell do we let the creators know our thoughts about Soul Exchange. What should be a great looked forward to event it's now simply a very expensive roster clear out, all heroes are over x2 years old - simply not good enough. Do a video on this mate because it really is killing the community

It's not that easy. Most of us are in alliances and we have to stay on point in war, plus new heroes are coming out like every yesterday, so to stay competitive we HAVE to. We're addicted to the game considering how much we already PUT IN, that's why they shouldn't be able to get away with this. This isn't the sakler company who got everyone addicted to opiates, but it's an addiction and they're KILLING US!!
