The song is about a girl who leaves a lover in favour of a nicer life in joburg partying and whatnot. She ends up realizing that she got carried away and goes back to her lover to apologize.

And so the quartet is basically talking about how she thinks back on the times she shared with her lover before she left and starts to laugh but then she remembered how she messed it by leaving and then she starts to cry.
