Just a bit of more info, Calus's true form is a bit of a mystery, even more so after the Glychon's lore. In the Crown of Sorrow Raid Cloak, The Drifter apparently meets the real Calus, and in the lore tab, Calus sounds to be a giant. It's told through Calus's perspective, but he says that it took Drifter several minutes to reach Calus's earshot on a sparrow. He also describes Drifter as being small, but other Cabal have called Humanity smallmen. Now, in the Captain's Logbook for the Glychon, Katabasis actually meets Calus in his true form. But unlike the CoS Raid Cloak, where Calus sounds like a giant, in the first entry of the lore book, Katabasis describes Calus as being very small. He describes Calus as being a blob of translucent, mottled flesh, writhing in misery.

I think it’s safe to say kata has the right info, as the raid gear is given to us by calus/found on his ship. That lore with the drifter could always be calus trying to make himself seem grand, like he always does

Yeah, this is referring to THE Otzot.

I am not much of destiny fan but calus and the cabal I found fascinating especially near to the end, the idea of Calus bieng a mix of an roman emperor combine with a form of chirsma, when you hear his voice you get an strong and almost casual conversation but with hints of pride and arrogance, but when you see him he is almost not a mirror to what he makes himself be, just a blob of flesh past most of there prime, made worse by his hedonistic action let when he finnaly impress the darkness to become a disciple, his form still clings onto some of his old traits, heck he carrys a goblet and wear some finery honestly I just love the design and voice of this charecter.

I think the designers nailed the design, made to look like a powerful, prideful, and most importantly, hedonistic megalomaniac. Which again, an overly sense of pride led to his downfall.

Amazing as usual and the art is just beautiful in it's own way.

Man, I love these videos. The animation style has a charm to it and he doesn't go too in depth where it's boring or skim through too much where you don't know whats going on.

You forgot to mention that calus seems to committed disappear when he communed with the darkness again when they arrived in the sol system, after it's ships whisked away some of our planets (Seriously. . . Fuck the Darkenss :/)

Calling it now. Calus is in a Savathun situation and has a worm attached to him (initially he loved the idea of the power) who’s thirst he is now forced to quench (why he now feels so empty and lost) for all eternity.

All in all, by Human standards; Calus was a GREAT ruler. His only fault before the exile was being born into a world that knows nothing but violence
