You were right, no one understands what it's like or how good it can get until they hear it. After I heard my first pair of "Maggies" I couldn't go back.

Yea it caught me off guard I wasnt expecting to be blown away like that. Almost ruins other speakers for you lol

Even a very old 0.5 sounds great in mids and highs. For more bass you need a 1.6 or higher. To be honest mine have had a filter upgrade. That makes a difference after many years.

I had a pair of MG1As for years. Loved them!

@@hatoraidcowboy Most likely he was using the two-channel setup. The Magnapans don't work well for home theaters.

@@55afishead That’s what I’ve heard. I think they are trying to improve that. He did have a bass module he was turning on and off during the demo.

Maggies are magical. I've had them off and on for 25 years. Tried converting to a box speaker (Klipsch Heresy), but I couldn't help but think the music was coming from a box. IT WAS!

🤣LOL There is DEFINITELY a massive difference in Maggies and a box speaker. Cant imagine how Maggies sound in a properly treated environment.

Looks like Schiit Audio was pushing those, that is also impressive. I couldn't make out the other one.

Yea Schiit was one of the amps I believe. The speakers were amazing to hear.

Click and ship sounds great except Magneplanar doesn't provide this outside the U.S. You can buy them or order them from your local dealer and go pick them up. IF they are in stock. Maggies sell like hot cakes and there is often quite the wait for a pair!

Yea I think these speakers are for a very targeted audience. Glad I got to experience them though. Never heard anything like that before.

@@Shorby99EK I’m not sure, I never saw any amplifiers but they had to be there somewhere. Unless they were in the speakers themselves.

Magnepan needs a new spoke person.
