I´m so proud of you Jared for going through with this!! I´m so happy everything went to plan I have been following since week 6 of the pregnancy with Jackson and I feel honored to get an glimps in to your lifes. I´ll be praying for a speedy recovery

What kind of hip surgery you get

When Jared read Calvin’s note I cried. I’m such a sap lately, but it really is like watching my family member since I’ve been watching since Jackson was a baby. I’m hoping things are still going well and progressing well since surgery! Much love you guys ❤

I felt like I was watching my own brother go through surgery. I’m so glad you were able to walk out of the hospital so soon. Happy Birthday Calvin.

Oh. My. Goodness. Happy tears. I'm so excited for you both. Jared, seeing you break down about how something felt different made my heart melt. It's been so long since you've felt anything other than pain and I'm so glad you were brave enough to go through with this surgery. You'll be up and at it again in no time!

I'm soooooo happy for Jared!! Having my hip replaced 5 years ago was the best thing. The pain was gone & I was able to actually walk!! He's going to be so much happier with a new hip. Yay Jared!!!!

My mother was in the hospital 4 nights after her first one and 1 night after her 2nd. I hope the rest of your recovery goes smoothly and you are back up running around with the kids soon!

Wow, what a beautiful video. Jared, I know it's been a couple of weeks since this, I hope your recover is going really well. The notes from the kids were beautiful. Jackson is sooo talented with art/drawing, please keep encouraging him with it, he has an insane amount of potential with it. I could see him being a graphics designer, illustrator etc. 😊 And happy belated birthday, Calvin!!❤️

It is amazing how you are able to walk afterwards and go home. You look so much better than when you had your last surgery.

As somebody who has had 3 labral repairs (bi-lateral), bone shaving and shaping, capsule opening and closing- 5 hip surgeries worth- and who still lives in chronic pain, I bawled through this entire vlog. I feel alllll those feels for you. I understand all those tears and fears. I cannot wait until I’m 50 and my surgeon will talk hip replacements with me. Happy healing to you! Wow, you did so well Jared, astonished you were so good at getting up and about. I had mine 23yrs ago, and it was very invasive, and long recovery, but, don't have any pain in that hip now.
