My Dad is in his 70’s now, and he (and I) feared for a long time that we wouldn’t see Scotland in another major tournament in his lifetime. My Dad is absolutely buzzin. And so am I. This squad has given Scots around the globe something so precious. Legends the whole lot of them. I think this is a watershed moment for Scottish football. Can’t wait for the Euros. 😊

I would love to see a "clash of the titans" of penalty shootouts. Germany is famed for its penalties - but Scotland has a 100% record ... 10 penalties, 10 goals .. blemishless. Let's hope Scotland - for the very first time in its history - escapes the group stage and meets Germany in the Quarter final. ... and that the game plays out into a lifeless 0 - 0 ... so we can see just who IS the best team in Europe at taking penalties! Once and for all! (slight problem - Lewandowski)

I've been fighting off tears all night. Wow...i was at St etienne with my dad..i was hobbling on crutches after doing my ankle in haha this has been an emotional night. 22 years. Thank you to the Scotland squad. You gave everything and you did the country proud and you won. Beautiful. Bring on the euros.

I was the same as him. My first memory of Scotland was at World Cup '98 against Brazil. I remember the buzz about that game. We've endured many hardships over the last 2 decades, now we're at a major tournament again. Enjoy your night, everybody.

What a strange year and now I see comments with English supporters praising Scotland and old firm supporters on the same side. Great night for all of us and love the passion. This is what being a Scot means.
