Mother and baby are reunited and socialized at their wonderful foster home to prepare them for their future forever homes. Hopefully, soon enough they will be adopted. I have rescued 2 sets of barn cats with kittens and there is nothing more satisfying when they cuddle up with you purring away because they are happy.. But it takes lots of patience to get there...

What a beautiful momma cat!! 🐈💖 Thank you for not giving up on rescuing her!! She finally let her guard down some seemed to settle in with you and her baby really helped!! I had a stray cat that come around and with liter after liter of kittens!! 😪 She would not let you get near her!! It broke my heart for her and the many kittens she had!! 💔 I started to feed her in hopes she would warm up to me so I could take her and get her spayed!! Didn't work!! 😢So I borrowed a trap from a coworker and got her!! The only time I ever got to touch her was in that trap!! 😥 I was so happy she wouldn't have any more kittens!! I was able to befriend one kitten and she became a beautiful part of our family!! She happened to be the exact image of her momma!! They were both tortoiseshell! ☺️ I tried to provide all I could to make her life easier I don't know if it was because her baby was in the house but she would come in the living room and eat and visit and sometimes take a nap!! Never let me touch her!! Then several years later she just disappeared!! 💔 I knew she was probably gone!! But although her life was hard at first having all those babies I was at peace knowing she had many years not having kittens and never went hungry!! 🐈💞 I had her baby for over 14yrs!! She was such sweet girl! I miss her terribly!! 😪💔 I pray this momma kitty gets the home she deserves!! Blessings to you for what you do!! 🙏💕 Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

I think Mom was an abandoned house cat, rather than a feral stray. So she adopted to being back inside quite easily. The kitten was young enough, and inherited mom's mild disposition, it was easy to domesticate him.

They are both beautiful!
