I'm overwhelmed with emotion. This channel really has brought me so much closer to Waheguru. This channel really has shown me the light of the guru and has ultimately made me a better person. I can't put it into words how much I give thanks to the Basics of Sikhi team for showing me the path and beauty of Waheguru. All I can say now is wahe guru ji ka khalsa wahe guru ji ki fateh.

One day I will take amrit, waheguru ji

I love the whole concept of Sikhism. It's totally in sync with parts of what I believe. We can all experience God! I was listening to a verse of the Quran the otherday. Reading the meanings as I don't speak Arabic. It was totally random. I was on the bus at like 7am, to work. And the verse was talking about reflecting. I never truely reflected on life before that moment. Anyway, I was listening and reading. Then out of nowhere, it felt like an external being/force/energy, forced tears from my eyes. It felt like unlimited happiness and comfort. But also sad in a sense... Because these things are right in front of my eyes. Yet I didn't truely ponder. But that's the experience that truely validated there being a God for me. I know I could experience it again somehow. But it's not a feeling, words can even begin to describe. It was like a punch to the soul. A true realisation... Thanks for the videos!

Basics of Sikhi They sure are! And God willing, I can have more experiences like that... and others, too! I wish everyone could understand the concept of true reflection... although I was brought up in a Muslim household. Sikhism is just so in sync with what I believe. I really do love the 'religion' or path. God know's what my path will be. But thanks for the content, anyhow :) I have one question. Which is split into two parts, if you could possibly answer it? How do we know we have past lives... i.e as Animals etc? How did the Guru's know? That we keep going into a cycle? That's the one thing that I can't understand... Maybe with humans its understandable. How I understand it, is you need to have that connection to God to be back in his grace... If you don't, you go back into the cycle... And also, can we see our past lives? What's a Sikh's answer to those questions? My auntie is very spiritual and she said she saw her past life... I've also seen some videos on KZread of people seeing their past lives and being able to explain certain things... it's a very interesting topic indeed. Sorry for the long message

Umar Ali As a follower of sikhi we believe in past life's but in sikhi knowing past life is not given very high importance. Only people at very higher spiritual level know them, or if god wants to teach us something from old lesson. But unfortunately, most of us have hard time learning from this life. Reason for not giving very high importance is because past life's are associated with existance of ego and forgetting god. We run in cycles because we think of us separate from god and that is ego. More and more connection to such memories can make path harder to walk on. It can become extra load or baggage to carry for soul. Once a soul learns to stay connected existence of ego and baggage related to it is not needed. Also, what you expressed your experience in first message, was a taste of connection with god. So keep it up, but I know some people get discouraged when such taste is not experienced again. But do not get disappointed, it not the taste of connected but your desire and actions to stay connected that matters. Remember it is the act of eating food that benifits your health, taste of food just additional benefit which is also good to have. I hope you soul will stay hungry of connection regardless of taste.

we are definitely in dark times. waheguru please give us the strength to get rid of the bad things we think of and do. clear us from our blindness of finding God.

Miss u jugraj, i watch basic of sikhi almost daily. I came in touch with sikhi after knowing jarnail singh ji bhindrawale but I am blessed I found bhai jugraj who stepped me towards sikhi more than anyone. I am hindu by birth, but came near to guru with sangat of jugraj by just watching his videos. Miss him everytime I watch any video of basic of sikhi. And would like to thank this channel who armed me with knowledge of sikhi and majorly bani and basic concepts. Need guru kirpa to become a sampooran sikh. I wish If I could meet and do sangat of ppl from basic of sikhi, but I from India. Need guru kirpa, everytime I bow down to guru granth sahib ji, only thing my heart asks for is sikhi , sampooran sikhi🙏🏻
