EMOTIONAL LIVE BIRTH VLOG AFTER LOSS | RAINBOW BABY AFTER TRANSABDOMINAL CERCLAGE
After all these years of infertility, it definitely was an emotional birth. This is the c-section birth vlog of our long awaited Rainbow Baby after YEARS of infertility and a loss due to preterm labor/ incompetent cervix. I've dealt with PCOS, hypothyroidism, and have had two prior IVF treatments and sadly suffered the loss of our baby girl at 21 weeks pregnant. After getting a trans abdominal cerclage placed by Dr. Haney, this was our third attempt at an embryo transfer. I still can't believe we made it this far after years of in vitro fertilization treatments and the crazy roller coaster infertility takes you on. I've had so much anxiety since the loss of our baby girl and definitely lots of anxiety going through a pregnancy after loss. I had to have a c-section and have a large cyst removed from my over, both of which went very smoothly.
We are both so thankful to all the people that have played a role in getting our Rainbow baby here. We've had so much support from our friends and family through the years. We are SO grateful to have been one of the IVF grant recipients from Ellie & Jared, the other IVF grant sponsors (April & Davey) & Footsteps for Fertility. Thank you to everyone that watched our video and voted for us. We truly cannot thank them enough for their gracious gift.
We also would like to thank Dr. Haney for his incredible work with the transabdominal cerclage procedure. Although it's not a widely known surgery, it has contributed to MANY rainbow babies coming home to their parents. Anybody that has had a preterm loss do to incompetent cervix should definitely consider doing some research on the TAC.
We also can't forget about the Fertility Institute of Hawaii for all their great work. Everyone there has been incredibly kind to us, all of the staff from the receptionists, Zoe our phlebotomist, lab staff, billing, our nurses (Rachel, Courtney, & Alyssa), and of course Dr. Frattarelli! IVF is so stressful but they easily explained everything so all of our appointments and cycles went very smoothly. We are so thankful we went to FIH and definitely recommend anybody in Hawaii dealing with infertility issues to see them.
Most importantly, we have to thank all of you! Infertility is a hard journey to go through alone so we're incredibly thankful for you all.Some of you have been watching and supporting us since our first IVF back in 2015/2016! Some have been following along since the Ellie & Jared grant! There are so many people to thank for getting us here so I apologize if I forgot anybody. We thank you all for your love and support, words of encouragement, any tips, suggestions, or any help you've given us through the years. It definitely kept us going and made us not want to give up.
Infertility has been a long, hard road to deal with. If you're still struggling, please don't give up hope. It's a crazy roller coaster of emotions with many highs and lows but in the end, it'll be all worth it when you have your baby in your arms. I still feel like i'm in a dream! THANK YOU!

What a beautiful miracle! Congratulations. I know the moment you heard his cry will be an everlasting memory in your lives. I am a mama to two rainbow babies. We lost our first daughter at 16 weeks and 5 days due to ic. I had a tac placed by dr. Sumners in Indiana and now have a 3 year old daughter born 39w1d and a 7 month old daughter born 36w1d. It is so sad that we are a part of grieving parents but such a blessing to know we will one day be with our angels. So very happy for you both. Enjoy each moment!

Nikki so sorry for your losses! I’m so happy you also got a TAC and now have your rainbow babies. It was the hardest thing we’d ever dealt with and I’m so happy other women that have dealt with the same losses recommended the TAC. I know they say to trust the TAC but with a prior loss, it was so not to have anxiety the whole pregnancy. As soon as I heard his cries, that heavy blanket of anxiety lifted. It was the most beautiful sound ever 😭

@@saraharjumand4910 thank you. Still can't believe I have 2 daughters at home with me. I went into labor right at 36 weeks. I had actually dilated to a 3 with my TAC in place. They tried to stop my contractions but were unsuccessful so we decided to go ahead and have her. She was perfectly healthy with no nicu time. I think labor started with her because it was a hot summer where I live and chasing around a 2.5 year old probably just kicked up my contractions.

I came across your 21 week loss video whilst searching for 22 week pregnancy updates, no words could comfort that loss, but I felt for you and cried with you. I am 22 +1 with our second and I could not imagine the pain of losing my children. I just had to go onto your page to find out if there was a rainbow after the storm and so over the moon that you have your rainbow baby after so long, such deserving parents, wishing you all the health and happiness in the world

So happy to see you have your rainbow baby. I had my rainbow baby 26 yrs. ago. I also have pcos we were lucky we only needed a little help to get pregnant. My loss was 28yrs ago Jordan my son was born at 40 weeks and lived for 42 minutes he had a fatal heart defect called ebsteins anomaly. I was lucky to go on and have 5 more babies after my loss. Sorry for your loss. You have a gorgeous baby.

I was getting ready for bed and thought "Jun and Keisha had to have had Rainen by now!" I pulled up KZread and was not disappointed. Sorry I'm so late to the game. I have never seen anything this BEAUTIFUL. We lost our son February 18 2022 born sleeping at 21 w 1 d. This beautiful baby gave me hope , we shall meet our son again soon . Thank you! It definitely was a hard video to edit. Just thinking of his sister and our prior traumatic experience being there in the hospital. It was overwhelming but definitely shed tears of joy once we heard the sweet cries of our baby boy. 😭

First video made me sad but now im happy. I personally don't want kids and I don't have any and plan on leaving it like that but I do enjoy my friends kids. I wish people would understand that. I absolutely have nothing against kids but they are extremely expensive. I cant afford them but I would buy something for my friends kids if I have the means financially. Best of luck to you all in this endeavor of raising your son and other kids if you have or adopt any. I was adopted because my parents had trouble having their own kids and they realized there are many kids out there who need parents as much as people want them. He is one handsome lil man.
