Best's cutback was converted by Foulkes against Real Madrid. In his own words, Best had wanted Foulkes to be 'the last person' to receive his cutback but it was destined that he would probably have the last say in the game. It remains one of United's best ever European comebacks, isn't it?

I've only just watched united the film and as a pompey fan who's never liked united much... this grabbed my heart and soul and I'm so glad I know about Jimmy Murphy and how brave the survivors all are... this Club definitely rose from the ashes like a phoenix

Grew up being told that Bill was related to the Bridge family on his mother's side. I'd love to know if this is the case. If anyone has possession of the facts, I'd be grateful to hear. Many thanks
