Not only that she’s come so far from having an eating disorder to going on mission trips to help others and now she’s chasing her dream!!!

She’s grown so much through this journey and this was a wonderful song for her voice!

Idk why everyone hated that she made Top 5 this performance right here is exactly why I voted for her every time I could. Every time she came out she got more graceful I hate it she didn’t make top 3

@cubnation I know, I've seen it. She's been on stage her while life with her grandma. But she's still come out so much from her shell and feeling small through this experience.

@@carinalindberg7377 If she has such anxiety and low self-esteem, don't you think she would benefit more from a seeing a therapist than taking the place of amateurs on American Idol? I think her issues with how she sees herself are more deeply rooted than she letting on. I just hope losing American Idol, won't cause her to withdraw even deeper.

@cubnation Of course, every single human being would benefit from seeing a good therapist, and she must likely already is. But it's not between having a therapist OR pursue your dreams, it's having a therapist so you do pursue them while growing and evolving. Deep rooted or not, a good therapist can help someone pull out that root in one session if a person is open to it. Sometimes, mostly, a person need it to be more of a journey, but one day it'll just be gone, or have changed so much is no longer a block. Emmy put herself out there and that's the most important step. I doubt it makes it worse for her to not go further, in fact, I think it was the best for her. It will give her the space needed to settle into her new found self, which will allow her to build a strong foundation for herself.

I like her the way she is, some times timidness is not a weakness

Yeah, she definitely grow the most throughout her time on this show, that’s why she’s here in the first place, the song itself is actually uplifting as I’ve never heard of it before but I kinda like it! Emmy I thought it was an OK performance

It's not that she doesn't have the talent. It's that she doesn't fully believe she belongs there and isn't comfortable yet. She'll get there, but I think she needs more time.

I really wonder if I’m seeing something different from other people. Her performances are not good in my opinion. She doesn’t have a lot of personality up there and her movements are stiff. She has a nice voice sometimes, but she needs more time.
