@@kevinhaynes1691 and time has shown that Friends towers over all of them. Will & Grace needed to have a revival, Sex and the City some very bad movies and Raymond...who still watches that again? Friends has never left the pop culture landscape and is just as present and popular now as it was back then. There's just no comparison as to which is the most memorable, iconic and classic out of these shows.

Eh, no. Friends had some really good seasons (2, 3, 4, 5, 8). But they shouldn’t have even been in the conversation beyond those seasons.

Back when Emmy's were still pretty even. It took 8 years for Friends to win an outstanding comedy series and yet Modern Family wins every year even after there are other shows that are better.

The fact Friends only won once out of 6 nominations is a real shame. The show was and still is a cultural phenomenon. As great as a show is, Fraser was winning a bit too much. 5 times in a row.

I cant believe they only won 1. No show can beat this, especially not that HIMYM chick flick sitcom!!

+Karen Tran Seinfeld actually DID define an era of pop culture and is constantly regarded as the greatest sitcom of all time. Even if you don't like it, you need to show respect where respect is due. And this is coming from someone who's favorite sitcom is Friends.

That was a great time for TV comedies. All those nominees were great shows I looked forward to watching each one. I cannot believe its been 11 going on 12 years. I remember watching this as a teenager and being super happy when my favorite show of all time "FRIENDS" won. Its great to have these kinds of clips to bring me back to that time.

I would give the Best Comedy to either- MASH, All in The Family, Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm. I would probably actually give it my first 2 chocies- MASH or All in the Family. Both were more Dramedies than Straigh Comedies. Friends was a Nice, Cute, Comedy- sometimes funny (I never found it that Funny), but it wasn't a great work on Art like MASH or ALL in the Family. For being Funny- I would give it to Curb Your Enthusiasm which I think was Seinfeld on Steroids and was not a Comedy about Nothing. It dealt in a Comic way with serious topics like Race Relations and Political Correctness.

I miss this show. :( I know it was on for 10 years but I just didn't want it to end. One of the best series ever, IMO

"Friends" deserved it so much, but I give "Will and Grace" a special award for best Emmy-Intro 0:54 xD

I love how the audience only screamed when they were anouncing the nomination for Friends. It proofs that it was the best show and still is today!!!! Please let that damn reunion happen!!!

very emocional that not just the cast, but really all the team that worked for the show, were present to receive the prize... they're all very proud to work together and we can see it... After being so many funny, FRIENDS was also the "team spirit"....

I am an INDIAN and Today was a great day for me, But suddenly i turned on the local cable here for Star World, and apparently today was the last episode being aired on the channel, I saw it and cant just let it go out of my system that the show ended. Have been working out and listening to music and all the stuffs that could relieve the pain, BUT STILL, CAN'T STOP FROM BREAKING INTO TEARS.......

Thank God for American comedy television. Friends, How I Met your mother, Big Bang theory pretty much made a lot of what would be boring nights into great ones :)
