Emmure is one of the most hated, yet most underrated INSANELY heavy bands LIVE. I’ve seen them a total of 17 times now over the last 15 years, in different states, cities, and even 2 countries. These guys NEVER disappoint. The pure energy these guys exuberant at live shows is among the best. Their sets hit you like an atom-bomb from start to finish. Hands down some of the best mosh pits I’ve ever been in every time as well. They’ve definitely aged well and their music just keeps pushing their boundaries every time.

I've only been lucky enough to see them once live, they were playing with Fit for an autopsy, Justice for the damned and Thy art is murder and they literally smashed the place up, by far the best act of the night!

Ya I saw them in Wyoming in high school. Was pretty sweet. Very very tiny venue. Looking back now, their lyrics are dumb AF. But aside from that the breakdowns do be sick tho

Bands like Emmure have their place, mostly as gate-way music to open up young kids to the possibilities of heavier artists. I would have to strongly disagree with all those over the age of 15 who claim that this is something worth listening to.

Emmure is a hardcore band where the majority of their song's lyrics come from purely a place of hate, anger, and aggression. It's raw emotion. Can't get more aggressive than breakdowns, chugs, and dissonance. If you want solos and sweeps listen to Dragonforce or something.

@@bastardmike3052 sure you can ! but you get more tension on the strings if you consider an extra big neck on a guitar so you dont play it like a worn-out sock :D ever tried accurate triplets on a pretty down tuned String ? so performance is shitty with a standard guitar and even worse inluding normal string sizes - with the sound -i totally agree with you old lipsticks pickups can sound pretty nice in metal

I listen to Emmure like some people listen to modern rap, I don't come to be blown away with amazing musical talent but they get me hyped as hell and I think that's what they're going for

My favorite guilty pleasure band. Totally rockin out to this one!

I love Emmure, very few bands can match the heaviness, shear brutality of Emmure, that's why I listen to Emmure, cause I know I'm going to get a heavy ass song with some mean ass vocals. This song has so much energy you have to jump up, that is the core of metal, music that has so much intensity you have to move!

I enjoy life. More than most ever will or can even fathom. But this band is simply terrible. Terrrrrrrrible. If im gonna listen to any type of metal "core" music, I'll jam some Suicide Silence. Or Job For a Cowboy. Bands that actually have some talent on their instruments and not just play the bottom string on a 8 string guitar either open or palm muted. But to each their own,.

This song just gets me going ... no matter how many times I listen to it. When I’m listening to this cd while driving ... watch out!

I won't say this is the most talented band, or my favorite band by any means, but god damn no other band has gotten me pumped up like they do!

One of my favorite shows I have ever gone to was at a Veteran Hall rented to host the show. It was almost cancelled on the night of, as we are all standing in the parking lot waiting for them to let us in no less, because Emmure wouldn't play unless they had a stage... Dudes had to run out and get some stagging and put up a like one foot high "stage". Even though that was a pretty diva moment they still put on a badass show. I left with two black eyes, bloodied lip, my shirt all stretched and ripped up and the biggest smile on my face. This video always gets me though because they are in with the crowd haha

everybody hating on this but you have to understand, this is dancing music. this shit goes hard af live and if you like to mosh this shit is like an endless breakdown. similar to house music where some of the most irritating repetitive shit is hard to listen to but that's what does well in the club. It's made for dancing and puts you in a trance, whereas the more technical and melodic stuff that's more enjoyable to just chill and listen to doesn't do so well in a club environment

Far more superior than any other form of dance that exists currently, as dance in and of itself is to be the expression of emotion and the telling of a story. I know of no other form of storytelling where even the audience goes home bearing beautiful scars, breaks, and covered in the warm blood of all of the people around you. All of this from those love you and have your back more than any other family in your life. It is pure. Because of this purity most people cannot handle it. I enjoyed emmure when I was younger and not so much now a days. +barbwireboy2 Sorry to say this, but NWA had little talent. I like a lot of their songs, but I know when an artist has talent or not. They wrote lyrics anyone could have written, which doesn't make them bad, but they didn't have a lot of talent. True talented rappers (IMO) are Eminem, Black Thought, Mike Shinoda, Motion Man and many more. I like old school rap a ton, but way too many of its insiders have got no talent.

I like them because they have such a raw sound and gets you pumped and there is raw emotion in there music also...but thats just me. This is like some party music.

The cool thing about this video is that it shows a different perspective of what metal is. Your standard video is artsy and more about the story of the song. This emphasizes the energy and freedom of being at show. Rocking out, releasing any pent up energy, not giving a single fuck. It's stunning how many people think it's about sacrificing sheep and hating the whole world.
