Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I hits theaters on November 19th, 2010.

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort's immortality and destruction-the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.
Meanwhile, the wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. The Chosen One has become the hunted one as the Death Eaters search for Harry with orders to bring him to Voldemort... alive.
Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale-the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks.
Little does Harry know that his future has already been decided by his past when, on that fateful day, he became "the Boy Who Lived." No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the task for which he has been preparing since the day he first stepped into Hogwarts: the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

The dance scene melted my heart in the theatres :D It may not have been in the book, but I loved it, cause it was such a great surprise for those who've read the books :)

This interview struck me as very pleasant, intelligent and at the end even touching. Bravo to the interviewer! Emma for her part goes in depth if asked an intelligent question. She also seems to be much more at ease and less nervous as in previous years. That's not only valid for this interview but also for the whole bunch of interviews r/e 'Deathly Hallows Pt. 1' I've seen so far.

i caught the movie yesterday and i must say...wow. the movie was 2 hours + but it felt like it was only an hour, really i was enjoying every bit of part 1...waitin for part 2!!

i think one of the reasons these films just got better and better is because there are books to guide them and the books are absolutely AMAZING.

I dont know about everyone else but I personally love her hair!! It suits her so well... its very sophisticated and that is totally Emma!! She is such a sweetheart of a girl, not at all stuck on herself like alot of these young American actresses!! Her and Selena Gomez are my pick as best young role models for girls today!! This movie is going to be so epic and I absolutely cannot wait!!

@HPFangirl71 Yes they obviously seem to do something differently there than they do here in the US. I am not sure if it is something to do with the laws governing their working conditions or it is just that the parents seem less in it to live the dream of fame through their kids like so many parents in the US are or to get rich off their kids.

@NJRinglord I totally agree with that last part... she is a wonderful girl and not at all affected by the fame she has had... actually none of the youngsters from the Harry Potter fandom are which is quite remarkable considering all the limelight they have endured and the spotlight they have been thrust into at such early ages!! It goes to show that Britain obviously has a better handle on how they exploit child actors compared to here in America!!
She's pretty 🆒 just looking at her. Emma was a great choice for Hermione Granger-Weasley. I'd really love to invite her and the rest of the actors from these movies that ONLY revolved around J.K. Rowling's novels about Harry Potter over to my 🏡 for a Harry Potter themed 🍵 party. This a dream come true in regards to inviting celebrities over to my humble abode in a city located in California that means "Saint Francis" in Spanish.

I think the short hair brings more attention to her eyes and face overall, the result being she looks more edgy and intelligent. I miss the longer hair but I guess the bushier mane of hair(as much as she allowed anyway) kinda represented the Hermione character who as you can imagine she felt like shrugging off as she wanted to be judged at Uni as just Emma. Although from the pics I've seen she looks uncannily like her brother now :P She's still hot tho

@HPFangirl71 well I heard Miley say in an interview she only got an allowance of $500 a month, but I don't think they kept her money a secret from her and Miley compared to many others has turned out quite well. Another difference is the paparazzi are a lot more respectful of young actors privacy over in England than they are here so they don't get so jaded so fast.

@HPFangirl71 not really. I think it looks weird for a young woman to have hair that short because generally women don't go for that style of hair until they are in their late 30s or early 40s. It does not look bad on her because nothing would look bad on her, but it certainly is strange and if she did not dress so you definitely knew she was female you would think she was a boy. That said it is her choice and she is a wonderfully real person who has no ego & is very thankful & humble in reality

@svhwdwnut I think people only hate it cuz they are shocked that she did it and they still want her to be like Hermione and thats not who she is... shes Emma not Hermione and people need to deal with that!! Whys it such a big deal anyway?? No one has a fit that the Malfoys arent blonde anymore and the twins arent redheads??
