@@annajordan243 It's not the wrong name, Emma Stone is her stage name. You can call her whatever name you want, but you can't make other people. A lot of actors have stage names, it's perfectly normal. Just like Anne Hathaway's friends only call her Annie, but her fans call her Anne.

Anne Hathaway is also the name of Shakespeare's wife

What was the point of the Anne Hathaway part? Her first name is Anne. Is she implying she should have chosen her middle name, Jacqueline? It wasn't clear.

I know virtually nothing about pop culture and famous people, and yet I've known for more than 10 years that she'd rather be called Emily Stone, her real name, rather than Emma Stone, her SAG-approved stage name.

I didn’t like my name growing up “Sidney” because they would always say it’s a girls name so I chose to go by Sid. Then Toys Story had that demented kid named Sid and Ice age. Both awful characters growing up as a kid 😭🤣

I can't see why she couldn't use her real name I am sure there are countless other Emily Stones out there in the world and the only difference is how each they all look. We all know what Emily Stone the award winning actor looks like and I am sure if another Emily Stone came about in the film industry we would know the difference, I suppose if two Emily Stone's were up for the same award that could make that award ceremony interesting, but as Emily always seems to have some interesting happen at a award ceremony there would be nothing new there 😁
