(prepare for a spew down below if you are interested and are a fellow neal/emma fan, other wise don't read, and please if you don't ship these two then simply don't watch lol).
This video is long, long overdue, and I'm sorry it took me so long. I'm so grateful for your patience, for your understanding, for never once being mean or rude to me about why it took so long. Truth be told when you first bidded, and won, season 2 had just ended and I was so excited for what season 3 was to bring (because in my naiive head I assumed it would be about emma/neal coming together finally), that I thought Ill wait; and then...season 3 happened. I quickly saw a show that was beginning to deteriorate from its original premise all to cater to some young hot pirate who was gaining popularity amongst its female watchers for being...."bad" and hot, and "interesting" paired with Emma, and as a result a network saw a ratings opportunity, and the writers changed their stories all for this one man (don't tell me thats not how it happened because it is) just so that it could cater to this fanbase. I've never ever felt an intense dislike, and i'm pretty sure its hate at this point, for a pairing like I have for emma and this pirate guy (i won't name him because im not trying to start any ship wars or anything, this is my opinion, to each their own). I could go on and on but the death of Neal was, and is still pretty devastating to me. I will never get over this character death. Such a waste of potential, a waste of importance to the storyline, and such a dumbass plot.
Anywho Emma & Neal were true love. They were essential to the beginning and ending of a curse, their whole back-story and future revolved around each other from the get-go, and they were the children of very important fairytale characters. Fate, destiny whatever you want to call it, they met for a reason (thank you neal). They are my otp, and its why it was oh so very hard to vid them after he died. I'm not adequately describing how important they were so if your interested some links down below that highlights how much they were meant to be. If you read this...thank you.

honestly just comb through my emma/neal tag on tumblr lol. It's safe to say tho, that I will not be watching this show anymore. I won't stick around for dumb plots.

Oh my gosh this is so perfect and beautiful and gosh they had the most amazing story and I will forever hate the show for not letting them be endgame :( This is just so incredible!! I love it!!

IT'S DONE! YAY! BUT NOW I WANT TO CRY! I will never not be bitter about what happened to these two. I've had way too many ships fall prey to the writers killing off one half of the ship, or at the very least utterly destroying them, in order to make way for another ship as a bit of "fanservice" but this is probably the most frustrating because there are so many other aspects of these two that they hadn't explored...ugh. Anyways, thanks so much for the lovely video

truly incredible
first of all, this is flawless. like the coloring and the editing and the song choice were all spectacular. i am actually breathless watching this video. you showed how truly epic this ship was and i loved all the little parallels and connections you made with their backgrounds (like the snow/charming fall and the neal/emma one at 1:52) there's so much energy in this song and i cannot get enough of your perfect pacing and clip movement. i was captivated the entire way through. incredible, incredible vid hun

HELLO THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE. the song fits them so perfectly that i will never be able to listen to it the same way again. when emma opens the door to find little henry standing there and then it goes right into when she opens the door and it's neal carrying henry!!!! also loved the fairytale flashbacks they fit so perfectly. i've watched this legit 3 times today ok bye!!!!!!!

I love it!! this is the most beautiful story in the show, but the most undervalue :(
these two used to be my otp of the show. when i started ouat, i didn't really care about pairings, but then these two happened and... i was just captured away by the utter love they have for each other and the sacrifices they made for each other. like you, i sincerely believed in their endgame and i was devastated when all this /cool pirate/ stuff happened. and honestly i don't understand how writers could have given up a story as beautiful as this one for the sake of popularity of one character? your video shows exactly WHY these two should have been together. these two/this song and the talent of yours were the end of all swanfire shippers, only when they checked their subbox and i can tell you, we are all buried in pain now. if something, ANYTHING, may convince the writers to bring back neal, i believe this is your video. so thank you for making it and for writing everything in description. knowing that i'm not alone with this feels good

Ugh Gaby I so agree with you on this! They are my OTP too and they just belonged together and how the show handled it was horrible!! I stopped watching after that and couldn't care less about the show now. Just so angry how they did! BUT i'm happy you think the same way so I can watch epic vids of them from you!! This was beautiful and your editing is amazing like always!!
"Such a waste of potential, a waste of importance to the storyline" I completely agree ... I don't mind the other guy personally, but what I HATE is the waste of the overall arc of this show. She was looking for the notion of "family" for so long and in one episode it was lost. Granted I know she still has the parents, but she no longer has her own family she made herself. I always saw them ending up together starting their own version of Snow White and Prince Charming. Not seeing her being able to create her own fairytale ... to start a new chapter is what's very sad about it. It's really a lost opportunity and a loss for the idea of what a happily ever after really is about in a fairytale. I could have seen her with the pirate for a little while, but then having her see that Neal was really THE ONE all along. I agree! :( Great video though.

I love them so much and i'm so sad because of Neal's Death. I don't understand why we lose him ! Emma & Him were my OTP and it's really sad, you're vid' is just perfect, i love it !

It was so beautifl, so touching! I want more Neal & Emma, you made me miss the even more right now :((( i agree with every word you wrote - I still cannot believe that writher decided to pull off this fanservice storyline and kill Neal instead of giving him & Emma (and Henry!) the greatest happy ending they deserve... So infair. Actually I was kinda hoping that changes to the past that Emma made will cause Neal to live somehow, but I guess I was wrong :( And it i so obviously because of fanbase & ratings...

wow, i don't even watch this show but i grew to like this pairing through tumblr/videos & stuff. this video truly did something else to me though. i'm basically sitting here, in front of my laptop, screaming WHYYYYY (and don't let me start on your editing and use of music and scenes and voiceovers and brilliant cuts and everything just. don't.).

gaby0189x I mean, full disclosure, I will never like Emma and Neal, but I love your vidding style and the way you handle your music choices. Really simple but also really effective. So I’ll always like what you do, even if I don’t like the pairing lol.

I am so saddened and angry that the writers never picked up on how the otherside of their fandom felt about who emma should be paired with i understand that most people ship captain swan because neal abandoned emma with the watches but people are forgeting that SNOW WHITE aka Mary Margaret left david aka prince charming and told him she didn't love him to protect him and thats what neal did for emma!! He left so she can finally have parents like she had always wanted not only was neal protecting emma but neal was also protecting everyone else who was under the curse he left emma so she could save them!!!! And now apparently hook and emma are true love meanwhile snowing and swanfire have more of a love plot line in common then captain swan ever did! I mean come on captain swan shippers wake up!! I know that season 7 is the last season of ouat which i am heartbroken about but i just wish that they could at least give us the swanfire moment we all deserve and I honeslty hope neal can get his happy ending because i feel like he never did i mean i believe neal was the most pure in the show not only did he hate magic but he would never harm anyone!! And the creators just kicked neal to the curb i mean we never fully know if baelfire ever made up with his father and forgave him and we don't even know if neal knows about his brother gideon!!! Neal was the most epic character in this entire show and i only watched the show for rumpel and neals/ emma and neals story line in the show and now that neal is gone i feel like the show has become dull no season can replace the excitement and fangirlyness of season 1, season 2 and season 3 I hope that neal can finally get a happy ending I have fully spoken my peace.

I don't ship them but this was trully beautifuly made, just gorgeous
