It makes sense why Henry is the. Author because he has the heart of the truest believer and when the author saw the door the sourcess know that he was the author because he believed 🤯🤯

I don't like how they were all standing there while the darkness was creeping into Emma. Maybe it was the rough winds or something, but something about the scene threw me off. I also get they couldn't do anything, but I at least expected Snow to drop on her knees or something. Or maybe David running after her but get deflected back harshly. Idk

Well, most people won't agree with me but.. Not long ago Hook told her that he was afraid he was gonna lose his happy ending, adding that it was her. Perhaps, Emma should have thought about him too, before sacrificing herself for Regina's happiness?

Well,she did think about him remember when the camera turn and it face snow,charming,and hook too.it show she was thinking about them,maybe she was thinking about Henry. Also remember the promise she made to regina.she still keeps her promise

Ariana Williamson I also truly believe that she believes in them to save her. She told her parents that they once had to save her from the darkness by taking it out, and that they would need to do it again. She knows they'll do anything.

Who better to tether the darknes to than the person destined for great darkness or great goodness. The Saviour

Emma didn't sacrifice herself for Regina, it was for everyone. If she hadn't, the Darkness would've killed Regina and moved on to killing other people unless it was stopped by tethering it to a human soul via the dagger (as the Apprentice explicitly stated in the previous scene). Because that's what Emma does - put the Greater Good above herself, even for terrible people like Regina. Also major kudos to Jennifer Morrison in this scene for being able to say Regina "worked too hard for her happiness" with a straight face. That takes some serious acting chops.
