​@@luna740 She maybe meant that with adulthood comes responsibility, but not a fundamental change in what we are. We're all human, flawed, maybe fragile, all with our own individual perspectives and expertise and all that's ok. At least that's how I'd interpret it.

Really lovely interview, thank you so much. It's genuinely so heartening to see two people who love each other express it in such charming ways - as awkward as it must be for them, I'm glad this interview brought that out. I was blushing alongside y'all haha. I was also really touched by Emma's commentary on being queer in this industry, on a personal level, but then also how they like the idea of creating just a bit more space for non-conformity amongst the imagery we are constantly bombarded with in the pop culture / entertainment realm. Genuinely made me emotional. This was heartwarming! Kudos.

Emma identifies as non-binary, meaning they don't feel like they fit into neither of what's considered "feminine" or "masculine"; just somewhere in between. Emma is an incredible actor, and almost always, outside work prefers to not be the center of attention. Considering how you and the comment above mine reacted, you're both the reason it IS difficult to come out and say "this is what I'd prefer to be called and referred as, please be respectful" because unfortunately, many will not take it seriously and instead make a mockery of it. It's not something you have to agree with or understand, but be respectful. It takes no effort to do so.

Remember when Aemond was saying S2: Ep1 with sir Criston Cole that Alicent holds love for their enemy? They were friends for their entire lives until they were late teenagers. It wasn’t themselves that split up their bond it was the system and men around them. They were kind of severed away from each other. Alicent was forced by her father to marry the king and rhaenyra was unaware and she had kept some secrets from Alicent too about Sir Cole. Now over time things got worse as they had their own duties, responsibilities, and lives to live which changed how their dynamic was and how they saw each other. I feel like Alicent feels a bit guilty because everything is out of her hands in a way. She didn’t want war but the men around her did and were planning behind her and Viserys’ back the whole time. She wanted her son to be king but she was kind of conditioned by her father to. I feel like if anything this is war between Daemon and Otto hiding behind the leaders for their own pride and gain. Other people are paying with their lives for their irresponsibility.

You miss the entire point of their story. They werent broken up about a friendship, but the love they had and lost. Not every heartbreak is cause by an ex partner. Friends and family can break you just the same or worse.
