The Emley Moor transmitting station is a telecommunications and broadcasting facility on Emley Moor, in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
It stands at 1,047ft (319m) and transmits terrestrial TV and radio signals to a 3900 sq mile radius. Radio broadcast from here includes Capital Yorkshire and Heart Yorkshire.
It began transmission in 1971.
