Dr. Chubatola Aier is the daughter of well-known engineer Late I. Nungsangmanen Ao and Narosangla Longchar from Waromung village.
Some of her prominent achievements are:
1. First Naga to attain PhD in English Language Teaching (ELT).
2. General Secretary, Watsu Mungdang (1988-89).
3. President, Watsu Mungdang (2005-2007).
4. Lecturer and Head of Department (English) from 1983-2006. Promoted to Principal Zunheboto Govt College in 2006.
5. Took voluntary retirement in 2012 to establish C-EDGE College, Dimapur where she is currently the Principal.
6. Founder Convenor of Education Forum of Mokokchung.
7. While a member and later as Chairman of the Board of Governors of Jubilee Memorial School under MTBA, introduced Ao Naga in the syllabus of ICSE, New Delhi.
