He produced a tone of huge hip hop songs and albums in last 25+ years. I mean sure, he got mainstream recognition as d12 member, but he is much more than that. Saying he is just and Eminem hype man and member of band that practically doesn't exist (and that he left in 2012) is demeaning to his work. Yes, he is much more active as producer for last 10 years than as d12 member or Ems hype man. It's funny you don't know that since he produced shit load of songs for all 3 mcs you have in your profile pic. And he never went by Mr Porter or Denaun Porter as a member of D12 (he went by Kon Artis). He goes as a Mr Porter/ Denaun Porter as a producer. Buzzin means well-known or recognized by a lot of people for your craft. Black Thought is world-renowned. He has performed in countries globally. People transnationally know who Black and the Roots are. Straight up. Black Thought's intricacy on the mic is laudable.

This might easily be one of my favorite CDs of his... I'm 42. I was around when he first started and didn't think he would get anywhere. . I enjoyed his first maybe two albums and then I dropped off as a fan didn't care anymore. Didn't really listen to rap much from there on. Funny enough it's reaction channels in the last year or two that have gotten me listening to a lot more rap again. But mostly stuff you hear on KZread or online and not in the radio.

Royce, Thought from the Legendary Roots Crew, and Marshall murked this joint. Q-Tip from Tribe Called Quest got busy too. I've been bumping the music of every spitter on this song for many years. R.I.P. Phife Dawg from Tribe Quest. Denaun produced this beat. He got busy too. Black and Royce are top 15 of all time. Em is top 5 of all time. Tip is in my top 30 or 40 of all time. If you pay attention to Royces verse, he does Adkins that are meant to sound like Busta. This track is amazing. Just the rhyme scheme and flows that Royce brings to tracks is amazing. He also produced "Darkness" and I believe this was the other track.

Denaun and Royce split the first verse. A lot of people don't realize that because their voices are similar.
