You missed when Em’s house morphs into the staircases. It symbolizes that he used the stories of his youth to propel him to new heights. He’s where he’s at in life bc of the things that happened in that house. No matter how bad it was.

First, I would like to say good video. There are a few things I would add. I think there's a lot of meaningful imagery. The simulation/AI theme plays out throughout the video. Kinda like The Matrix. In the beginning, Eminem is walking with a group of clones. They all disappear. Leaving just one. I feel like that symbolizes that Eminem is THE ONE like Neo in the movie. Which also lines up with the reference about the top 5. When Em starts his verse, he's rapping in front of his old home. In an interview he spoke about having to break into his home to sleep on the floor. The home then breaks apart, and the pieces make the staircase. The staircase seems to have no end, going up to the sky. Basically, "The staircase to Heaven" idea. The never-ending staircase ties into the reference of having so many stories but hating ceilings. Showing that the sky is the limit. It's deeper than that, too. Because it also symbolizes how he took the pain from those stories, which many took place in the house like sleeping on the floor and used it to become the Rap God walking up the staircase to Heaven. 🔥🔥 Now, the top 5 shot. I don't think it's a real diss, but definitely a jab at Jay, Kendrick and Nas. But a little more at Jay. I know what Royce said, but idc, he's not Em. Jay Z supposedly didn't want 50 performing at the Super Bowl and said "The White Guy" through his weight around to get him on. I'm paraphrasing because I don't remember exactly what happened, but it was something along those lines. I feel like that would be enough for Em to take a little shot, knowing Em. Plus, coming off the Empire State Building reference, it just sets up the shot perfectly. ALSO, I think the reference to the Empire State Building is a call back to him performing at the Empire State Building. I only think so because this track is called Tobey, referencing Spider-Man, and the song he performed in the Empire State Building was Venom. Which Venom is to Spider-Man, what Slim Shady basically is to Eminem. The White Castle is also a call back to "This guy at White Castle asked for my autograph, so I signed it, 'Dear Dave, thanks for the support asshole!'" I haven't seen anyone notice that. Lastly, I think there's a twist coming in the album. I've wondered this for a while, and I feel like this video gave a little more evidence to my theory. The album is called The Death of Slim Shady and we're supposed to believe that Eminem is killing off Slim Shady or retiring. But I've wondered if it'll be like in TV shows and movies, where there's an evil twin or something like that, and in the end the evil one gets killed, but before the credits it shows that it was actually the good one that got killed. In this video, it starts off with Eminem but even the one that was remaining, eventually disappears. Like he wasn't actually there. Then, when he starts rapping, he in front of the home like the cover of The Marshall Mathers LP. It just feels like it's Eminem throughout the video. When he says "Shady's gone..." he kills himself. But the Jason mask and chainsaw are symbols of Slim Shady. So, did Slim actually kill Em, but is disguised as him? Lol could be a reach but idk, it's possible. Could also be a new character, maybe the monster created in Houdini killing them both. There are so many possibilities for how the album will play out. Such a dope concept and I can't wait! Sorry. Just wanted to share lol I'm excited

I think the white castle shot is more to represent the merch than My Name Is, but who knows. The new album does seem to be refrencing his older albums, with a Guilty Conciense 2 and Houdini (A newer without me)

@@JCBW2000 the White Castle spot definitely is promoting the merch, but with the theme of the album, and all the callbacks to his old music so far, even in the video, I just feel like the product placement and the merch are callbacks to his first major hit. My Name Is. It's a full circle moment. Everything about this album and the rollout has had meaning. We didn't know, but it started when they tried to cancel him 3 years for the line in Love the Way You Lie. After that, I think he got pissed and decided to make another Shady album. Shortly after, he put out the animated video for Tone Deaf. Which had already been out for a while and was probably the most Shady sounding song in a long time. He was rapping about getting cancelled. Then, he put out a lyric video for Cinderella Man. Which had been out for over 10 years. In the song he's talking about using music as his time machine to bring his old self back, and try to recapture lightning in a bottle. He also has a bar saying "Consider it his last hurrah, the coup de grâce, raise 'em high" The Super Bowl commercial, when he gets the call to perform, he's battling an A.I. Shady. Doomsday 2 hinted at Houdini. His first song and video was Role Model. Doomsday 2 samples that beat and in the video for Role Model, he performs Houdini's trick. And on his pretty much every feature he's done over the past few years, he's gone back to a similar writing style as his old Shady days, but on steroids. IMO. Back to really seeming like he's not giving a f*** again and just saying what's on his mind. No matter what anyone thinks. Except even more now, because I think he's even taking shots at other top rappers. Which he used to not do, because (I think) he used to have to know his place as the white rapper, and be careful not to offend other top artists, so they couldn't turn the community against him and force him out. Now, he's too big to get pushed out for that, and he feels like his spot is at the top. No matter who he has to go through. Which also kinda ties back to the merch. The shirt says "White Rapper" instead of White Castle lol. He's fed up with not getting the respect he deserves, after always showing respect to the game. Sorry this album has me geekin out lol I've never been this excited for an album and I don't have anyone to share my thoughts about it with. 🤣🤣 That sounds sad, I know. BTW, GOAT Worthy (a reaction channel) suggested that the song Seduction by Eminem was taking shots at Jay-Z. If you go back and listen to D.O.A and A Star is Born by Jay, and then listen to Seduction by Eminem, it really makes sense lol kinda mad at myself for not thinking about it all these years. Especially because those were my two favorite albums back then smh lol. Anyway, my bad again. ✌✌️

@@CobySucks just re read the interview and I was mistaken, he didn’t help MGK write the diss but MGK played the diss for Cordae and Cordae told him that he didn’t go hard enough, that’s when MGK recorded the last verse
