When he says "word to Method Man", it's also a reference to the track titled "Method Man", which comes right before "Protect Ya Neck" on the 36 Chambers album. Also, "she went to check on the noise and go inspect the deck" - the first verse on "Protect Ya Neck" is performed by Inspectah Deck, who says "I make more noise than heavy metal".

I think you were on the right track with the Method Man "scared to death" bar. He doesn't have a song by that title, but it's possible Em was referencing lyrics from songs like "Party Crasher" or "Cheka." I'd be surprised if that's not what Em intended. And y'all are the first ones I've seen even attempt to make that connection. Keep it up. You guys are quickly becoming one of my favorite reaction channels.
