Keep listening for those layers man, this was the killshot, it's over. Kevin Lamont it wasn’t just the fanbase. Rap devil was decent. It truly was. He had balls for being so direct. Killshot may not have ended his career but it affected him heavily. His attitude in general and it just became awkward to watch him in interviews because he seemed so defensive and bitter about everything. Then his EP was trash and I actually felt sorry for him.

Most in this comment section don't understand battle rapping. If you anticipate a few rounds, you can't unload your best shots in the first round. Eminem is a strategist. He didn't go 100 on Kelly, he went like 70. He will know that if MGK comes back with another track, it will be weak because he won't have much to come back from after Killshot. But Em will unload heavy on his ass and completely wipe him out the game. That's how Eminem works. Look through his catalogue of diss tracks, he uses this strategy almost every time. He goes about it in an intelligent way

That line was mediocre and predictable. This was not top notch Eminem. Didnt anything go over my head. I'm the same age as Em. I've been rap fan since Kurtis Blow. I've seen and heard some awesome rap battles and this isn't one of them. Eminem lacked conviction, passion, and energy on this diss. He wasn't focused or convincing in dismantling MGK. It's obvious he held back on MGK. BUT the lines he directed at Iggy and Diddy were cringe worthy.🤔

Oscar Lohens well without going too deep. The first thing to understand is Killshot was dropped the day Pac got killed. Second part to get is status and what Em is doing. He tried using MGK to get at people with real clout like Diddy(the target was never MGK, one reason why Em lost the diss to me). 3rd to get is Em was essentially just rapping then all of a sudden drops a super real ish line out one nowhere and acts like it’s nothing. Kinda like Em’s way of saying “whatever you say, this line is far more important” lol. There’s more to it, but past this point is where people usually say skepticism plays a key role😂

Joshua Runt That was the complete opposite. MGK's insults were basically "Your beard is wierd" "I'm taller than you" "You are old". He said what any other rapper would have said. There was no word play or anything special lyrically. It was a good track but not a great track. The beat was dope though. Eminem addresses everything MGK says. He addresses the Rihanna line, all the age insults, MGK complimenting him and dissing him at the same time, his mention of Hayley etc.. Eminem also spoke way more truth than MGK. "But I'm 45 and I'm still outselling you" "Luxury, oh, you broke, bitch? Yeah, I had enough money in '02 To burn it in front of you, ho" "Got you at your own wake, I'm the billy goat You ain't never made a list next to no Biggie, no Jay Next to Taylor Swift and that Iggy ho, you about to really blow". Ems lines were way more clever too. MGK said the last time Em seen 8 miles was at home on the treadmill. "I was watching 8 mile on my Nordic Track". A nordic track is a treadmill. "The game's mine again and ain't nothin' changed but the locks So before I slay this bitch I, mwah, give Jade a kiss" The L.O.X was a Rap group back in the day. One of the members was Jadakiss. See the play on words.? Read the lyrics and you will understand that Rap Devil cannot compete lyrically with Killshot. You can argue that the beat and flow are better but no way the lyrics.

Listen again... Em has so many layers in this. You gotta listen. He rapped like that, so NOTHING would be missed. Hence why he said he's doing this one time.

Yes it was lyrically clever and better but where are the answers for the things mgk said like he banned him from sway45 and he called diddy Jimmy and all to blackball him? You know it's true when sway even said in his interview that mgk was uninvited to sway45. Em just killed it with great lyrics and some untrue stuff and didn't addressed facts what mgk put in. For those that don’t know how it works... Eminem writes everything. Every rhyme or scheme or punch he thinks of he writes down; on anything. A piece of paper, a napkin, whatever. Good rappers have a lot of pre written material, and they can go back to it whenever they want and pick and choose what they want to pull out and use. It’s common sense. Did Eminem write that in 13min? Possibly. Did he free think from scratch without already having some ideas and rhyme schemes in mind? No. There’s still people who will believe anything they read.
